Personal:

My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I read an article on running while sick. Use the Neck Rule. If your symptoms are above your neck (headcold), then you're good to go. Below the neck, you need to rest.

From marion on Nov 18, 2008 at 09:15:57

Thanks Mike- that is the rule I am going by. I'm glad to hear there is an actual rule :D No cough yet and if I get a fever or it settles into my lungs, I am going to the doctor.
