Personal:

My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

Oh no I didn't realize you still weren't feeling well. I guess I fell behind. Anytime I don't feel well I think I must be pregnant. LOL

Festivus for the rest of us!

Does anyone remember any of the traditions George set out for Festivus?

pulling...

I'll think happy thoughts, like beach volleyball players. Scratch that, I'll think of g-rated happy thoughts for you.

I don't remember any of the traditions but I'll google it :)

From marion on Nov 17, 2008 at 09:04:48

This is from Wikipedia- "The holiday includes novel practices such as the "Airing of Grievances", in which each person tells everyone else all the ways they have disappointed him or her over the past year. Also, after the Festivus meal, the "Feats of Strength" are performed, involving wrestling the head of the household to the floor, the holiday only ending if the head of the household is actually pinned."

Sounds like a heck of a holiday! I guess George was onto something...
