My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I decided to run a flat course today.  It was ugly and boring :P !  The hilly neighborhoods I usually run are much prettier.  Also, it was trash day where I ran and it was STINKY!  How is that for a major cut to my city!  I am going to be banished!  Anyway- the run went much better this morning than yesterday.  My whole legs still feel like taffy that has been put in the refrigerator- hard and ready to snap, but not cramping up today.  I am guessing I need a massage.  I feel like my running form is also super up-tight.  So MORE yoga and I need to find a new massage therapist.  Mine moved to Vernal :(  Have a great day!

Thanks Josse for the calf rubbing info!  It really helped!

Glad the calves aren't cramping! Too bad you live so far away, I am a massage therapist too, I have a studio at home and then work at Snowbird in the winter. I think massages are mandatory for us runners. I haven't been to yoga in 2 weeks, I really miss it, it seems to really help. There is so much to think of and do with this running, I don't know how you keep it all together with 6 kids at home. I think you are Wonderwoman!!!! Actually I bet it is a great outlet for you to do something for yourself, it really helps boost your spirits and keeps you looking and feeling great! Keep it up Marion!

Running really is an all natural Prozac for me-

I wish you were closer too! The poor massage therapist who gets me is gonna be in big trouble- I am getting my legs waxed this weekend and boy are they frightening!
