My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I have decieded that blogging brings out the Polly Anna in me.  I am way less whiny and I find myself looking for the beauty in my run to report in instead of the nasty.

This morning the brids were out and singing away.  The 50's are such nice temps to run in.  I am trying to treasure them as I know they won't be around for long.  The mountains are SO green right now and it smells so nice outside.

I think my feet are getting bigger.  Can they spontaniously grow over night?  They are already HUGE to start off with, but boy do they seem snug in my new shoes.  I am going to go and get a new new pair this week.  My new ones (of just a few weeks) will have to be used for my shorter runs.  They are not working at all for my long runs.

What a happy run! If you get your morning run in the whole day goes better.

Make sure to go to a running store and get a good fit, you should be getting a whole size bigger than your normal size.

Yes, it was happy!

I wear a womens 10, and in running shoes I have been fitted at running Corner for a mens 9.5 double E width. They have been great and wonderful, just this last pair it feels like magically my feet have grown. I am guessing that maybe they have "spread out a bit" during my last pair or two and I didn't notice because as the shoe wore, it spread a little. I made the mistake of just buying the same as last time, in a rush without trying them on! My STUPID! I have neuroms and I should know better than to think I know best ;)
