Personal:

My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I slept so BEAUTIFULLY last night and I even got to sleep in this morning!  WOW!

This week I have 28.6 miles planned for.  I am going to bike as to make my miles 8 every day.

I have SO much more to say regarding my goals and ideas but I have got to get busy with the kids :)  I just want you all to know how much I appreciate your help, advice and mostly your encouragement and I try to become the best runner I can be.  Running is my little thing I get to do that is for me.  It is my "time out" that I so desperately need each day.  Thank you for your friendship and cheers!  They mean ever so much to me!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I know it can be hard to get the blogging right with kids needing your attention. And I only have one! lol

Kelli- We have a time capsule basement. once the boys get down there in the morning, they are locked in until I set them free :) Actually I am not sure how it happened. I just got REALLY lucky this morning :D

Thanks guys! You are so nice :)

I ate too much of everything all weekend. I should run 150 miles this week.

Marion, you really are a cheerleader and bring so much positive energy to the FRB. I have enjoyed getting to know you better and love reading your posts. You are kind of obligated to keep us all going now..... No pressure. I too need to run 150 miles this week too Kelli. I had one day of not eating due to my little throat procedure and so I made up for it and then some. Wow, I need some control!!! I made home made oreo cookies tonight for our "treat", need I say more??

Oh and Marion, I just noticed your goal to run a 1/2 marathon before April of next year. The "Heidi's" and I (along with our hubbies) are all going to go down and do the Painters Half in SG on January 17th. You should come down and do it with us!!

From marion on Sep 21, 2008 at 23:42:11

I am hoping to do the Painter's half :) I think it may be a party :) Party...don't let your mama know! party... or she won't let you know!

I LOVE homemade oreos! We make regular and mint. YUMMY!
