My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I woke up at 5:45 and did a 60 min yoga class.  I am so glad that I found out about yogatoday.com.  It is just the greatest invention ever! :D  After yoga I checked the temp and it was 49!  WOW! So I bundled up and headed to the dump ;)  I did flat today and, well, my splits say it all.  I am feeling very tired and worn out, not for the rest of the day, just during the exercise.  Ok- now to get the laundry done and clean this big mess of a house :)  Oh- I'll go biking with the boys after I get everyone off to school and the kitchen detoxified ;D

Running 39:59, 3.01 miles, ave 13:16, best 10:03, Laps-12:53, 13:16, 13:39

Biking 50 minutes = 4.16 running miles

Yoga 60 minute back bend class.  My shoulders are SO tight, but I can do backbends!  On monday we did revolving split-legged head stands!  That was AWESOME!!  I LOVE headstands!!!

Hey you! Ony 5 for me tomorrow. This is my running cut back week. I am SO stinkin tired! How bout you? How many miles tomorrow? How're the heels? You take it easy on them :)

From Kim on Sep 12, 2008 at 11:38:51

You are doing headstands and backbends?!!!! That's amazing! I wouldn't even dare do a backbend! For me it would be a back'break'! OUCH!

You are really doing great with your comeback!

Thanks Kim :D I just adore being upside down, weird I know :)

From Kim on Sep 12, 2008 at 11:42:07

I like being upside down on an inversion table. Have you ever tried that? It feels so good to just hang there from your feet! My brother has one and I love to go to his house and pretend I'm a bat. My kids think it's pretty funny!

From marion on Sep 12, 2008 at 11:44:30

I have not ever tried that. I'll have to find one and see if I like it. The head stands are fun because you have to balance strength and relaxation. I also love to balance.

You are a yoga diva!!

I should really be doing laundry and cleaning the house as well!! :) Maybe later!!

Have a great day.

Teena- I am not having much luck with the laundry as we are one scoop away from out! :D Yeah me! Does squirting the shower with lime-away count as cleaning?

From Teena on Sep 12, 2008 at 14:59:42

Yep!! :)
