My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

Last week went really well.  The calves are doing great.  My cardio is improving.  I am hoping to be back to where I was by the first of october.  This week I am planning for 25 miles.  I have been doing half my miles on totally flat routes and half on my regular hilly routes.  The variety has been really nice.

I am hoping church goes well this week.  I bet it will be just fine.  I'll do some Yoga before I head out the door ;)  If not, Barry said he might be able to hook me up with some Valium. :D  Anyway- the day looks beautiful and the boys are currently eating toast, shirtless, singing with their hands over their ears.  I really don't understand boys.  Ever so cute- just a bit odd though.  At least the tattoos they were COVERED in last sunday are mostly faded this week.  Oh yeah, did I mention that while David and I were out last week, the boys literally covered their bodies with pirate tattoos!  Arms, legs, tummies, faces... not a speck missed :)  So not only did they act like Hells Angels at church, they looked like them too!!!  The best part about our ward is that it is FULL of older couples who are really kind and understanding.  They just watch us and smile and give me a thumbs up or a wink as I drag the hoolagans out by their... actually whatever I can grab.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

I am glad you are having a better Sunday! You should take pictures of the kids with the tattoos and post them on your blogspot next to the dead bat! ;) I was thinking about the Valium and i decided to let you have the first one free and from then on out the rest will cost ya. Just kidding. Great job on running your mileage last week, so keep up the good work. Next thing you know you will be running 60 miles a week like me.

Barry- Are you trying to KILL me? 60 miles? I can never be as cool as you!! I first have to get back to 30 then at 40, we'll see how this 39 year old, six children later, body can handle all the miles! I appreciate the confidence and maybe next year I will look back at 40 miles an throw back my head an LAUGH!!! "Fourty miles is for WIMPS!!!" hahahhahahahhahah!!! (can i at least get a volume discount on the Valium as i am very mentally disabled?) I should have taken a photo of the tattoos in their glory! Now they just look like...week old faded tattoos :D

Megan- thanks for visiting my blog. I have been injured and am SO glad to be running again :D

Thanks Lucia and Jodi! Life is NEVER dull around here. These little boys are like a herd of puppies!
