Personal:

My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

THANK YOU MICHELLE!!!!  The most amazing Michelle came and helped me through my 4 mile tempo run today.  The goal was to be in the 10 to 10:30 range for 4 miles.  Due to some funky laps, the splits don't show it exactly, but MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! :)  We ran my normal route, an out and back, with a mile loop around my block at the end for a cool down.  The first mile was also a warm up, with a stretch at .33.  It was a hard run, I wanted to stop a few times but I didn't want to die. :D  By the way, Michelle, your hair is DARLING!!!  I love the color and the length!  WOW!!!  Hot speedy Mama!!!

I still have the STUPID head cold, but no fever or cough :)  Hopefully I will get over it quickly.  I am going to go get some tea after my shower this morning.  I don't know if tea really helps, but it makes me feel better ;D

Have a GREAT day everybody and an amazing PARTY weekend!

YEAH!! That is so great for you, and is going to be the beginning of a great weekend!

I am sorry you still do not feel well, but look what you accomplished feeling cruddy! Get better, drink tea and lay on the couch all day! Your husband is home, right? So he can take care of you and the kids all day.

Michelle---we need to see a picture of the new look!

I just noticed we ran about the same pace this morning, however I don't know if I could have kept it up for another mile...maybe if someone had a big stick!!

From marion on Nov 14, 2008 at 15:44:56

Michelle is STINKIN' cute, but carries a very BIG stick :) Jk- no stick, I just don't wanna look like the BIGGEST dork, even though everyone already knows that I am :)

Silly girl! Have fun at enrichment, I am going to stay away from those things, they are dangerous. If I run with the gang I will just eat shot blocks, not so dangerous! We'll miss you!

From seeaprilrun on Nov 14, 2008 at 16:16:22

Way to keep the pace without wanting to die! All those consistent miles are paying off!

From Smooth on Nov 14, 2008 at 23:29:07

WOW!!! YOU DID IT!!! Tempo runs are HARD...and you did it with a head cold. You are just gonna get faster and better. That's awesome!!! Have a great weekend.
