My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago).  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds.  I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100.  The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

Hola amigos! Dang, the decongestant the doctor recommended is AWESOME!  I feel MUCH better.  The antibiotics will take a few days, but hey, a little better is WAY better than WORSE!!!  hahahahahhahahaha

The run was OK.  Lots of stopping to blow my nose :)  The splits weren't too bad considering how much we (Kim and I) walked.  Fortunatly is was garbage day so I could dispose of my toxic infectious tissues along the way.  Good times :D

Yes, keep that toxic infection away from the rest of us! What kind of decongestant did he recommend? We could always use a good one so Scott will snore less!

You are so awesome to always get out there and run, sick or not! You are our inspiration!

So, are you going to come to the post Thanksgiving Day run?? We need to start making plans. I am obviously not going to make the entire 20 miles, but I will just walk when i am done running---and I will be there at the end with goodies for all of the "finishers"!!

5 miles while sick, you're much studlier than I.

Yay, sinus infection!! It doesn't sound right to celebrate that :) But I understand. I love it when there's an answer and a cure, and not just some virus you have to wait out for some mysteriously long amount of time.

It cracks me up how you spare us no details with nose-blowing and stuff like that.

So you will be better in no time and back to your blog cheerleader self, right? I've missed your "go team!" attitude around here!

From marion on Nov 20, 2008 at 11:34:13

Yes- my Yeah team has been socked under by my exploding brain.

I am really glad that it is something that will go away with a few dozen pills. I hate having to wait out virus's.

Kelli- I have to work the sat after thanksgiving or I would be there with bells on! ;) I'll be doing a long run on friday if there are any "non-shoppers" like me :) I am not a very good shopper and my families wardrobes show it!

Glad you are on the mend my friend!!!!

I agree shopping is overrated, if I were not going out of town I would run with you Friday and Kelli Sat. I will miss you guys!!!

From marion on Nov 20, 2008 at 16:36:57

Are you going to Australia for Pink Floyd?

From Metcalf Running on Nov 20, 2008 at 20:47:23

Good to see that the drugs are doing their part :)

I agree... shopping is not fun during the Christmas, I love to give gifts, I think I just hate dealing with the crowds. But with the economy in the toilet, maybe it won't be so crowded :)

Marion, it is 8:00 pm and no sign of you! I hope you are just busy doing lots of fun things and that you are feeling great!
