I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Bike ride with the boys in tow, escorting Michelle through the fields.  Then she pushed the boys while I ran my one mile.  I was running too slow and it made my OTHER knee hurt, so I sped it up, and everything felt much better.  We stretched in the kitchen.

Hip report- it is 100% not worse with running.  It is FAR better than it was before, just not 100% better.  Is that as clear as mud???  I am just going to have to keep up with the stretching and massage.  Also, sitting too much KILLS it.  So, I am off my bum to get dinner ready.  Thank heavens there are a TON of leftovers :)

I woke up with congestion and a bit of a cough and sore throat.  I am going to rest all morning and see how I feel at noon.  The plan is tea drinking and laying around this morning.  A shower would be nice too :)

I am pre-blogging becasue I have a minute :)  I am not super sick for sure, just congenstion and congestion related sore throat in the morning.  By noon yesterday I was all better :)  In the evening, my voice started to get scratchy and I was VERY tired, but no problems sleeping.  I am going to still drink lots of fluids (tea :) and chill ;)

I will run on the treadmill when the boys head out for school :)  Happy hump day!

2.2 miles total.  1 mile at 10:49.  I decided to run outside this morning.  It felt SO good!  It's like stress and emotions build up in our bodies like crystal.  Running shatters it and sets me FREE!!  I LOVE running!!!  I feel SO much better!  It didn't hurt that it was 50 degrees and sunny outside too ;)

60 minutes on the elliptical at Michelle's.  I am SO grateful to Michelle and family for letting me bombard them to use their elliptical.  They are THE BEST! :)

2.5 mile walk with my good friend Jill.  She called and I was so happy to get out and enjoy what may be the LAST NICE DAY EVER!!!  :(::::::::::::::::::::::

My left hip started hurting friday and was pretty bad yesterday, but better today.  It is the same hip pain that I had originally in my right hip, when I started running.  I am going to have to figure this CRAP out!  BUTT head hips :(  The pain is on the top ridge of my pelvis.  Any ideas??

5 am with Mac and Michelle on my bike.  At the end, I ran one mile and walked a bit more than a mile.  I am going to call Josse today for some ideas about the insertion points.

.5 mile warm up. 1 mile run 11mm. .5 mile cool down.  All hips mad.  Will scrape and stretch and EVERYTHING else to get better.  Trying to see if I can kep it from getting worse and maybe settle down.  Scraped yesterday and left some decent bruising.  If I am not better, I will let Josse have a shot at me later this week.  Last night the right hip woke me up.  That hasn't happened in a while :(  As soon as I get off the treadmill I will stretch.  Is sweat bad for the laptop???

15 minutes on Michelle's elliptical.  1 mile on her treadmill while she folded laundry (11mm).  30 more minutes on the elliptical.  Stretching in her family room while the boys played in the woods.

The hips feel better today.  I have been scraping 2-3 times a day and I think it is helping.

One hour and about 50 minute bike ride with the boys in the trailer, all bundled, with Michelle racing along side.  It seemed extra hard today.  Maybe it was the extra 45 pound child :)

After a 2 hour nap ;)  I decided to take it to the great outdoors for my tiny run.  OUTSIDE!!! I was SO sad to see that I was done with my cute little mile.  Ave pace 10:18.  I did a .4 mile warm up and a .4 mile cool down.  Stretching.

I really LOVED New Moon and am firmly on the side of Team JACOB!!

Michelle makes the BEST Bourbon Chocolate Pecan pie.  HOLY COW!!!  I am going to make it for Thanksgiving :)  YUMMY!!!

I waited for the high temp at 1pm today for my run.  I need to get the vit D whenever I can.  I did run a bit more than planned.  A friend of mine, stopped me on the road to try this "healthy" chocolate of hers.  She wants me to sell it.  It tastes like chocolate flavored wood.  I don't think I'll be joining her mlm team ;)  Anyway, the run felt really good, but the stop messed up my laps and hence, I ran a bit too much :(.  Next week I get to run 2 mile for 3 days and one day, 1.  Brady said I could increase by 20% each week until about 35 miles.  Man, I love running.  It makes me so sad to hear the little beep telling me my miles are done :(

two vit D miles outside.  i walked my warm-up on the treadmill, stretched and then headed out.  It was a balmy 41 and sunny.

Pace 11:30 and 9:53 for the second mile.  I was feeling naughty! ;D

1/2 mile warm up.  Stretch. 1, 10mm on the treadmill.  1/4 mile cool down.  Stretch.  Shower. Shop. Pick up booze at Michelle's.  Make fudge, suckers, pie and some lame jello my mom is making me make.  Work. Sleep.

I am going to attempt to make the German Chocolate Fudge from BYU.  It is about 1.5 inches of fudge topped with 1.5 inches of the coconut pecan frosting.  Life is good :)

Met McKenzie and Michelle at 6am for our 5k's are for Wimps Half Marathon ;)  I rode my bike, so I guess I am a wimp too ;)  It was COLD, but the company was FANTASTIC!  After we were finished we got in my car and ate fudge and Michelle's pecan pie with some hot chocolate.

1/2  mile warm up on the treadmill.  stretching. 2 mile run with MICHELLE!!!  Best 2 miles ever.  At about 1.5 miles, my tummy was not sure how it felt about running.  I made it home :)  Biked for Michelle's miles and worked out all of the worlds problems.  I really wish I had some turkey.  Will trade fudge for turkey :) 9:30,10:14(with 2 walking breaks for tummy ;)

.68 warm up, stretch, 2 mile run 10:59, 10:54, .58 cool down. stretch.  I tried to take it slow today.  I ran up and down Main Street.  I used the steep up and down hill as my walking warm ups.  I stretched at the top of the hill by Parkview.

I baked a turkey and just pulled it out of the oven.  YUMMY!!

I get to add 1.4 miles next week :)  Yippee!!

I think I have entered the adolescence of running.  I did not do anything on Monday because I was in a bad mood and did not want too.  How's that for a big baby attitude?  I did make a calendar for me at costco.com with the cute pictures we had taken last February.  I can't wait until it comes :)
