Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a 1/2 Marathon before April 29th 2009, my 40th birthday.

10k in under an hour

Look like a beach volley ball player!

I want to run 40 miles a week.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a marathon between April 29th, 2009 and April 28th, 2010 for my 40th Year :)

1/2 Marathon in under 2 hours

Marathon in under 4 hours

~~To finish in a single number (1-9) in my age division ;)~~ I did this at Onion Days 5K 2008- I placed 8th! Yeah!!!

I want to finish in the top 5 of my age division :D

I have recently lost a lot of weight and running is very new to me (I started running about 2 years ago). I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.

My new weight goal is to have lost 100 pounds. I am quite sure I can get to about 93, but I am not sure about the 100. The weight tracker is tracking my total weight loss.

I am still pretty pooped. My left calf is bugging a bit. I am guessing that the antibiotic they put me on has zapped me a bit. It binds with vitamins and minerals, so I am guessing I am a bit low in that area and it will take some time to rebuid my stores.

I am getting my hair done to day and I am thinking I may just go dark for fun. I have never done that and I am feeling a little adventuresome!

What are the chances that the weather will stay this "runner friendly?" I feel like I am running on borrowed time :D

It can be fun to try someting new with your hair, I'm never as adventureus as I think I will be, once I sit in the chair I usually chicken out.

I hope the weather holds, I don't think we will have a winter like last year :)

Your calf is bulging with new mitochondria, those little energy factories that make muscles big and strong. I vote for dark hair. The weather is perfect for running. My hubby on the other hand is wishing for snow. My sons are coming home for Christmas and we need snow for skiing. The perfect scenario is snow in the mountains only. Can we have selective wishes?

Let's see the pics! Dark is fun. I've been thinking of going lighter but it's so much work to keep it that way... I figure I'll keep it natural for as long as I can, I know the gray hairs will start coming out soon and then I'll have to color it, right?
