No pain again today :)  Rachel's RAD diet is working  ;D  Now seriously, I am feeling quite satisfied with more protein and such a HUGE breakfast.  It's only day 3 (day 2 of strict perfection ;)  Oh and by perfection I mean that I only ate 2 of my daughters french fries, one bite of her soft serve homemade root beer float, 2/3 of a mini pretzel (from off the floor), 1 slice of 2% swiss cheese.  Not too shabby.  OH OH OH- Snickers makes a protein bar.  I bought a six pack at walmart for about $6.50.  They have 20 grams of protein and about 280 calories (6 points).  I ate half of one for my 3 point, pre-bedtime protein snack.  It was TASTY!!!  I don't know if any of you know this, but I am a Snickers JUNKY!!  I LOVE them :)  I would totally marry them if I could ;D

Have a great day :)

Nice run today. I am getting really excited for Ogden. How are you feeling; are you ready?

I LOVE starting the day with a huge breakfast and then snacking the rest of the day--I agree it is very satisfying!

I just love your cute attitude! You are so sassy and fun! Glad to hear the diet is going well and the calf is working properly!

I am so excited about this weather I can hardly stand it!!!

Barry- I am 100% ready for OGden, but am SO focused on the Marathon that I hope I don't bust myself all up at Ogden ;) I can't wait to meet you!! :D

April- You eat the BEST breakfasts in the whole world! I would weight 2,000 lbs if I ate that. You have such a great hubby to fix it for you!!! :)

Les- this weather is AMAZING!! Can we bottle it? We'd be rich!!!

Did I hear someone say root beer floats?

From Marion on Wed, Apr 22, 2009 at 14:29:10 from 71.213.105.206

OH MY GOODNESS!! There is this family burger drive in that makes their own homemade root beer (which is AMAZING) and they will make them into root beer floats with FULL FAT soft serve ice cream. They are UNREAL!!!! I am going to try to be you and have one the night before my next race. Are you going to come up here for any races???

From Burt on Wed, Apr 22, 2009 at 14:37:50 from 68.76.197.194

It's been a couple of years since I made it up there to do a Utah race. But I'd like to again sometime. Nothing on the horizon, though.

If you make it out here, we'll take your family out for floats :) Hobble Creek 1/2 is a great downhill race :)

When is that? The last time I took my family up to Logan to do the TOU full, we rented an RV. I think it cost us a small fortune.

You are so stinkin' good!!! I've been trying, but well....okay no excuses. I'll start again, tomorow :) I actually lost a few pounds since I weighed myself last week, so it can't be too bad...right?

Nice job getting those miles in and that you have NO pain!!! I'm so glad you like the Snickers bars, but you still need to try the lower calorie/sugar mint ones :)

Burt- Hobble Creek is in August. Registration begins in May. I bet an RV is much expensive ;)
