WOW!  Isn't the snow BEAUTIFUL!?!  If I wasn't having major sinus trouble and needing a really easy run, I would have braved the out doors.  My calves were pretty tense this morning and needed a ton of stretching thoroughout the run.  It seemed to help.  I also watched 50 First Dates while I ran.  It is one of my favorite movies.  I cry like a baby at the end when they are on the boat and she is holding and looking at her little girl.  Anyway- I am off ot hit the shower and something else important.  I can't remember what.

Oh- and by the way- my mileage ROCKS this week.  It is my hightest miles yet!  I am going to do a happy dance ;D

From JulieC on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 15:36:12

yeah and you beat my mileage by .22 as I just checked my miles on the board. I thought I was doing great being the most I have run except in a marathon week. You go girl. Great Job!!!

From seeaprilrun on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 16:39:16

Day after a 13 miler and you still ran 5 more without much ado--your fitness level is good! I can't wait for the 17th!

From leslie on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 16:44:13

Way to go Marion, of course you are stiff a bit, you have great miles this week.

50 First Dates in one of my all time favorites too!!

From Marion on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 17:04:42

Benn- thank you! How are the heels?

Teena- My important stuff turned out to be watching Mama Mia in bed with my daughter :)

Julie- NO WAY- I ran more than you this week? HOLY SMOKES!!! I must be turning into a "REAL" runner :D

April- I was a bit worried about the run today. I really goofed off though. I switched my laundry mid run and used the bathroom about 3 times and stretched a lot too. It was a pretty lame/un-serious run, but 5 bad boys still the same :D

From Marion on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 17:05:33

Les- THANK YOU!!! We are going to have so much fun at Painters- how are the heels?

From Teena on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 17:25:46

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!

...week! Ha ha

From leslie on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 19:11:18

My heels are horrible, I will be hobbling like an old woman at Painters, I refuse to let it stop me from running/

From Marion on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 19:13:47

Oh no Leslie- what can you do? IS hte vitamin I helping?

From leslie on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 20:08:54

I take way to much Vit. I, I am usually so-so for my run, but by evening I am crippled. I keep thinking it will eventually go away, I have a full year of runs planned, so they do need to get better!!!

Okay, I just ran down and got Run Fat Boy Run and we are going to watch it right now!

From tarzan on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 20:12:42

Great job, Marion. I will not put my extra mileage on the treadmill in tonight - so you can be ahead of me for miles this week.

You will have a blast at Painters. Wish I could be there.

From Marion on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 21:08:26

I forgot where this was posted but lets all go to Vegas to see Mama Mia. Maybe there is a little 5k we can do and then go see it :) David does not want to go for sure, but I do!

From leslie on Sat, Jan 03, 2009 at 21:09:58

I've seen the middle/end of 50 First Dates so many times and have never seen the beginning!! I like the middle and end though.

Congrats on your highest mileage ever week! What a super accomplishment!

From Smooth on Sun, Jan 04, 2009 at 00:42:36

WOW, MARION!!! U TOTALLY ROCK!!! CONGRATS on making your highest mileage and on a tough week with sinus issue to boot.

I love that movie too. It's so darn funny and cute.
