1:17:03, best- 7:13, ave- 10:40(for the 6 MP) and 10:43 for the entire run), splits- 11:36, 10:53, 10:13, 10:34, 10:29, 10:41, 10:19, 12:16(.19)

I decided to take a gamble and wait until this afternoon to run and boy did it pay off!!  I was in the low 40's and raining this morning and this afternoon it was 52 and sunny when I left and 54 when I got back :)  PLUS my legs decided that they wanted to run today :)  So the 7 miler at marathon pace worked :)  I was a bit closer to my 1/2 pace, but I can live with that.  I don't seem to do well holding 11 mm.  I think actually 10:30-10:40's. Anyway- I am very happy about today's run!  I got to wear my shorts and a t-shirt :)  Yippee!!  I think summer may come :)

I am going to be ordering the Red Hot Pink Chicks T-shirts for anyone who would like one.  Please PM me with any questions ;)  Basically they are either a singlet ($14), tank($15) or t-shirt($16).  That is including the printing cost of $4 per shirt.  These, of course, can be worn for our First Annual RHCP 1/2 Marathon down Provo Canyon July 11th, but should be worn at EVERY race you run ;D  I'd like to place the order next week, so let me know ASAP.  Now, if you personally object to pink, you can choose another color that the shirts come in and be a strange and odd RHPC!  But hey, you would still belong to the coolest group of running women around!!! ;)

XOXOXOXO

Nice clip on your run. Maybe your marathon pace is faster than you think it is!

From Maurine/Tarzan on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 19:59:10 from 97.117.61.168

Great job on your run, Marion. It is sure pretty out this afternoon. Too bad it is supposed to be lousy on Saturday.

From RAD on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 20:03:22 from 67.166.99.8

Great job keeping those splits! You're doing a great job. I wish I could've waited until this afternoon...I was SOAKED this morning. Oh well, prep for Saturday, right? I'm just hoping the rain stays away until 11 or so!!

From Marion on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 21:21:55 from 71.219.58.83

Benn- I am feeling very special with the blessed weather :) I usually don't have such fine luck ;)

April- It would be super cool if you were right, but the thought of doing that for 3.4 times longer makes my feet hurt ;)

Maurine- What if we pray for a Easter Miracle????

Rachel- Do you think it will?? Is it supposed to be a late storm?? If it is an early one, we could run at noon??? I am turning into a fair weather nambi pambi bambi boob!

From Marion on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 21:25:28 from 71.219.58.83

Benn- does Emma want a shirt???

From tarzan on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 21:51:20 from 97.117.61.168

Is that word allowed in this blog?

From Marion on Thu, Apr 09, 2009 at 21:58:17 from 71.219.58.83

Definition of "boob"- a wimp or big baby. not to be confused with the slang term for breast. Is that better ;)

From les on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 00:07:21 from 76.23.61.78

Your splits are Amazing!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend!

From Lucia on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 08:40:24 from 74.9.147.114

Lucky girl! Usually I don't gamble with weather either, as long as it's not pouring I'm out the door as soon as I can!

What will the t-shirts say, is there a logo/picture or anything?

From Marion on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 09:00:17 from 71.219.58.83

Hi Lucia!!! The shirts will have a FRB's(small) and below that larger RHPC made out of our motto(seen to the right) on the front. The back will say, "You've Just Been PINKED!!!" ;)

From tarzan on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 09:03:39 from 63.255.172.2

Marion - you should have specified - 'seen to MY right - because I have my computer set up so that it actually shows on the left.

Maybe if I turn my monitor upside down....

From Marion on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 09:28:41 from 71.219.58.83

Yes- i am a dyslexic dork! "AS seen on the LEFT ;)"

From leslie on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 10:26:56 from 76.23.61.78

Marion, thanks for organizing the shirts and the run, I really want to help out! I want to order a medium T Shirt! I will wear it to every run, maybe even to church!

Now I am off for the weekend, you all have fun tomorrow.

I am debating on which shirt to do, I will get back to you.

From Smooth on Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 16:24:29 from 70.56.102.54

We miss you this morning. Hope you're getting better soon. Don't know if the shirt fits me; I'll figure it out and let you know.

From luzylew on Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 17:11:03 from 69.169.165.206

I heard you were sick! It's the only piece of news so far that makes me feel not so sad about missing the big Saturday run. I'll PM about the singlet. I want one too! I hope you're ok. I've got a little cold myself and put about 48 hours between my last runs. I'm feeling better now. Have a wonderful Easter weekend sweetie! Be well.

From Marion on Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 22:28:03 from 71.219.51.238

xoxoxo's my friends :) Happy Easter! I am off to my cuddly warm bed that is covered in Easter surprises for the kids. We stayed away from candy this year and there is SO much stuff! We spent three times as much $$$ as usual :)

From Kelli on Sat, Apr 11, 2009 at 22:29:49 from 71.219.84.191

Yeah, candy is cheap!!!! We got them each a few pieces of candy, some gum, a movie, and a shirt. So, PRICEY for a stupid holiday about an Easter Bunny (the REAL Easter is not stupid, the bunny is!)
