31:50/12:44  Everything felt fine except the DARN TEMPERATURE!!!!  :p  I changed the plan for the week a bit. 2.5, 5, 8, 2.5 off, 18, off.  Off to the showers!

Sunday-

Goals for this week-

5, 8, 5, 2, off, 18, off

I am going to ice bath after each run NO MATTER WHAT!!! :(:::::::::::  (trail of tears).  I am going to do yoga 60 minutes, 5 days this week.  I am going to do push-ups 4 nights this week.  I am going to stick to my RAD Diet 100%, except at The Melting Pot on Wednesday night for my birthday!    I am gonna be 40 :)  We are going to see Wicked and staying at the Armstrong Mansion in SLC.  Oh, and probably going to have a HUGE obscene breakfast Thursday, too ;D  I am pretty darn excited about the whole thing :)  Anyone want to run 2 miles with me Thurday morning in downtown SLC?  The more important question is, does anyone want to run 18 with me Saturday?  It can be The RHPC "Marion's 40" Run :)  I think I may have David dump me off at Vivian Park and I will run down to the lake, real early like.  Good times :)

PS- Ford's baptism went really well.  He is such a sweet boy!  It was really cool that he was able to be baptized with his cousin Gregory.  Everything went just like we had planned, so all's good.  It was a hard day too.  My brother, Dan's son, Daniel, was born right after Ford and Gregory, he passed away July 5th of that year.  I was fine yesterday, until my dad gave the closing prayer.  My dad's name is Greg Ford.  These were the first grandsons and he was so excited that he was going to have these three little boys.  Daniel was to be the only "Ford" great grandson.  My Grandfather was one of 8 sons.  Only my grandfather had any sons.  Out of his three sons, only my father had any sons.  While Ford was his first grandson, his last name was McClellan and Gregory is a Simonsen.  Little Daniel, would be the first and maybe only name sake of the Ford line.  Since his death, Dan and Wendy have had another son, Nathan and my brother Adam and his wife Mandy have little Tyson.  (Mandy is on the blog- richgirl97).

Ford is in the blazer.  Maybe some day he'll drive this old Ford truck!

PPS- Ooops I put this on Monday's entry- oh well!

PPPS- David actually cracked a few ribs when he crashed on his bike last week :(  I actually find it pretty comical.  He takes much comfort that Mike thinks he brilliantly misunderstood.  The poor guy has the cough that the boys have had and is feeling it pretty good when he coughs.  Again, there is a bit of an evil chuckle coming from me over the whole thing.  That boy is SO lucky!!!

And 18 miles... wow!! I'm not envious of that one :)

From marion on Sun, Apr 26, 2009 at 22:00:51 from 71.213.117.28

Come on Kelsey- you know that you want to come and run it with me! I am so slow, you'd be able to write a paper while we run :) i'll treat you to ice cream after :)

From leslie on Sun, Apr 26, 2009 at 22:25:45 from 76.23.61.78

Your birthday plans do sound fun!!!

You sound like a woman on a mission! Good luck with your plan.

Sat. sounds fun, I will think about it, I would love to do 18, I ran without Harold last week and so hopefully this Sat. he will bike with me, so I will see if he is up for Provo, it is one of my favorite places to run, but you know about this give and take thing with marriage....dang. Gary and Maurine talked about running, so we will see what happens.

I am glad the baptism went so well too! Ford is one handsome young man!!!

From marion on Sun, Apr 26, 2009 at 22:37:47 from 71.213.126.135

I wouldn't mind coming up to the JRP in Lehi :)

From leslie on Sun, Apr 26, 2009 at 22:44:05 from 76.23.61.78

I think the Provo River Parkway sounds better!!!! Hey, well don't count on me, you do what you need to do, and if we decide to come down your way, I will let you know.

I want a medium sleeveless tank. When do I give you the $15? This Red Hot Pink Chick thing sounds great! Best idea ever. When so you want the official count? I might have a few friends to invite. This will the highlight of my July.

From marion on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 09:03:43 from 71.213.126.135

Bec- i will call Steve today to make sure we get your shirt in. :) As for the race, we will be open until the end. The entry fee is a fabulous(goofy) prize and a post race treat to share. We will also accept any family or friends who want to volunteer that day. My girls are making "super cool" finisher medals. It's gonna rock!!! As for the $$ you can mail me a check :)

From Maurine/Tarzan on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 10:25:14 from 63.255.172.2

What time do you want to run on Thursday morning? Would you be able to run around 5:30 or 6:00 a.m.? I could come and run with you - but don't want to get to work too late.

How is the foot feeling today?

From Teena on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 11:20:20 from 67.177.20.13

No way you are going to be 40!!! YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!!

From maurine on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 11:22:52 from 63.255.172.2

BTW - letting us all know you are not yet 40 just makes me feel like an old lady.

Lucky that he cracked his ribs and has a cough to boot? Evil chuckle indeed!

From RAD on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 14:32:14 from 67.166.99.8

Glad you had a fabulous weekend...I'm all up for a good run Sat. It just has to be early, because I've got a baptism at 10 AM (I'm the primary president and try to make it to all of them).

From RAD on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 14:33:16 from 67.166.99.8

oh, but I'm only planning on doing 14 or so...so I can come early and do 4 then do 10 w/the group or whatever. I'm flexible :)

From marion on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 15:15:58 from 71.213.126.135

Maurine- I am planning on being pretty lazy on Thursday :) I think I will run when I get home so I can be super lazy Thursday morning. I may even skip it the more I think about it :) I am getting lazier by the minute. Watch out, it may be contagious!!! The foot is behaving :) Here's to no more pain :) I had been skipping my foot stretches, and that may have been the problem :(

Teena- Thanks my dear! 40 is TOTALLY AWESOME!! :)

Maurine- Old ladies are 87+ You are NO old lady!!!

April- the boys really are sweet. It's so fun that Ford has a cousin his exact age :)

Mike- YES, he is lucky. I was sure as he was careening with the ground that he was doing to DIE!!! (evil chuckle ;)

Rachel- I lost 1.6 lbs this week :) Yeah! Now a million more to go :p I am hoping for early too. I am planning on 18. Let's see who else wants to "play" during the week :)

From RAD on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 16:24:25 from 67.166.99.8

Nice weight loss!! Wish I could say the same...but a horrible weekend shook something into me. I'm going to do TONS better this week, and feel free to check up on me :)

From JulieC on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 16:58:04 from 65.103.228.82

HAPPY Twenty-fourth 17th birthday (in a few days)!!!! What a week for you!! Here's hoping your day is full of sunshine and lots of good fortune!!

From Smooth on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 00:01:50 from 71.36.71.239

Sounds like Ford had a wonderful baptism. What a nice story about your grandpa and dad.

GOOD JOB dropping the weights!

40 is SO SO SO SO YOUNG!!! Did you plan your b'day celebration or David did? Have a ton of fun!!!

From marion on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 00:14:20 from 71.213.126.135

Smooth- I agree- 40 is YOUNG!! :) The Wicked ticket happened to be on my birthday (my idea to get them) :) and I requested the Melting Pot and the Armstrong Mansion. So the birthday is my wishes, funded by the bank of David :)

From luzylew on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 00:28:43 from 69.169.165.206

I didn't know it's your birthday week! What a fun bunch of plans!! Really, a whole exciting week. If you're coming this way on Saturday, I could maybe meet you at the mouth of the Canyon or Will's and we could run down to the trail end together (I'd have to go a bit further down to get my 11/12 mileage). But calculate when you'll be at Will's and maybe I can meet you there.

From RAD on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 00:40:17 from 67.166.99.8

Marion, Smooth and I are thinking 7AM at Lehi...any and all invited!!

From Marion on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 10:56:01 from 71.213.126.135

Luz- I like that idea. I am still working out the details with David. I was going to start at Vivian and nervous about running the Trail past Will's as I have not done that before. I will call you :)

From The Howling Commando on Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 11:25:25 from 72.224.24.41

Must say that both of your boys are dressed up more than I ever have been I think in my life! A blazer!?! sheesh! I think when the wedding day comes around Emma will faint just seeing me in a three piece suit!
