RHR- 53

It is the PERFECT day for running.  Everything seemed to be working just fine.  I was a bit tired.  Mile three was spent walking as I had a STRONG desire to find a potty ASAP!  Fortunately, the police station showed up and they let me use theirs.  I said that they should let me use it as to save themselves from having to arrest me for exposure ;)

Hey- my daughter, Ashley's (14) team won the triathlon at the Jr High yesterday.  She is such a speedy swimmer.  She makes it look so effortless.  Her only competition was a year round swimmer who got the same time.  Just think what Ash could do if she had crazy parents who would drive her to Provo everyday to swim.  She hasn't been in the pool since last summer.  Oh well ;)

Here are my marathon plans-

#1 Anything less than 6 hours.  Yipee and Yee Haw!!!!

#2 5:19:00 (12:10mm) What I think it will be. (really between 5:30-5:20)

#3  5:0_:00- Not likely, but maybe and REALLY cool ;)

#4 Marathon best case scenario MIRACLE ....4:50:23 (11:05mm)

Are you coming to cheer me in?  You know you want to :)

Baby for sale!  Will just filled my central vac hose (50 ft) with water.  FILLED!!!  I picked it up and it was SO heavy!  Could not figure out where the water was coming from.  He told me earlier that he had cleaned up the water.  I ignored him.  He may be a bit of a bugger ;)  Good thing he is DARN cute!!!

WIsh I could be there!! You're going to do AWESOME!!

Looks like we've traded weather... it's perfect there and it's starting to get too hot here.

Queen's "We are the Champions!!" I imagine will be a bawling mass of tears, so who knows :) I could not read for about 12 hours after my first 1/2, so as for a sign, it may need to be RED or HOT PINK with glitter and lights ;) Small words like- "GO" or "Finish Line here", Maybe "Chocolate-this way" ;D You'll probably have to come up to me and shake me by the shoulders and say, "marion- this is Allie- READ THE SIGN I MADE YOU." and then read it to me :) I can't wait to meet you :D

I will trade your baby experience for mine today!!

I just hope you did not turn it on and get it into the walls! What a mess!!

So, I can not figure out where to park and how to get back to my car, so here is what I am going to do. MAYBE run the last 6 miles with Scott (big MAYBE) but at least wait for him to finish. Then, run backwards on the course until I find you. I am sure it will not be at mile 16, but I will get there as fast as I can! Shall I bring chocolate (or chocolate flavored GU)??? Now, that is if you want me to (if you have changed your mind, that is fine---just tell me! I have a really hard time running races with people, so I will understand!!!! If not, I will be there screaming and yelling and holding a HUGE diet Pepsi for you!!!)

Marion wants Reese's peanut butter cups. Maybe a little one at each mile marker. I made the mistake of buying her one at Will's on Saturday.

From marion on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 16:10:45 from 71.219.53.30

Kelli- PLEASE no stress! Getting Scott through this big bad boy is your #1 must do!!! I would love your company, but totally understand how complicated it all is :) My SIL is going to meet me at mile 20 with Reeses peanut butter cups. Maurine bought me one at mile ~15 on our 20 and it tasted like HEAVEN!!! I am kinda worried about the last 6 miles :( If I feel as good as i did on Monday, I would want to push them. Is is smart to not push ANYTHING until the last mile, if there is anything left at that point? I need a bit of smart advise :)

From marion on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 16:17:37 from 71.219.53.30

Maurine- You know me too well and have created a monster!

From Kelli on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 18:04:25 from 71.219.85.34

I am not stressed. Even on his worst day ever, he finished in 3:44. So, if your best case scenario happen, I should still be able to catch you at mile 22, right? I told you I would do this, and I want to!! Not a problem. But if I carry Reeses they might melt, so I am glad your SIL is going to do that! I am impressed you can eat at all, I can barely drink. Everything makes me ill and it makes it very hard to run 26.2 miles!!

The last 6 miles are just ignoring the body and running as fast as you can (which is usually slower than you want in my experience!!) You will do GREAT!!!

From marion on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 18:13:07 from 71.219.53.30

Kelli- I would SO love to have you run me in :) I am going to tell Mandy to freeze them so they wont be total mush :) You know,if you were running as SLOWLY as I am, you'd be able to eat too :)

You need to give me your new cell number. I got a new ring tone I want to send you. It's the cookie monster singing "C is for Cookie"

Here's to a great June 13th! I'm glad to hear you're so easily recovered from Monday. Don't worry about those last 6--they suck no matter how you train :)
