I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born. I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband. My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Goal- six mile run down the canyon....

Dreamed I got run over running down the canyon so I scrapped that first off. Headed up the canyon and... HEAD WIND!!!! Stiff and annoying. No zip in the legs. Canned the 6 miler and came home. I have hair appointment in 10 minutes :) I was SO thirsty that I had to find water. OH and I saw a HUGE snake! It was at least 4 feet long. I did the snake song and dance. It's pretty loud and obnoxious at 6 am in a residential neighborhood ;D

40 minute bike ride with David. It was SO beautiful!!!!

I've almost injured myself a few times doing the snake avoidance stutter step. Can't stand worrying about and seeing those critters.

Yikes! What a morning you've had. I saw a little snake the other day on a run and it might or might not have been dead and that was plenty enough for me. I don't ever want to find a 4 ft. snake!

Nice job on the miles with a headwind. WHAT KIND OF SNAKE? I really love Utah, but at least we don't have 4 foot snakes in these parts.

It was yellow and green spotted. I am guessing a garter snake or some kind of field snake. I hate them ALL, so I don't know their names and I 100% for sure DO NOT TALK TO THEM!!! NEVER talk to a snake! We learn that on the first few pages of the bible ;D

The hair turned out great ;) My friends confessed that they like me better as a blond. I also like the bronzing powder that I bought. I am SO afraid to tan anymore, so the bronzing powder is the next best thing ;)
