ONE DAY MORE!!!

Yes we are here with less than 24 hours to go!!!  I am super excited an CAN'T wait!!!  So far, NOT SICK!  I have woken up with a head ache every day this week, stress, I am sure.  I had a GREAT carbo loading day yesterday and have started out today with some GREAT tasting carbs!  Whoo Hoo!!!

Good luck to everyone who is racing.  Be sure to say HI to me.  My shirt has the St George Running center on the front with my name across the top.  (It is a white T shirt)  The back has the Fast Running Blog on the top with "26.2 VIRGIN" on the bottom.  I will have a hot pink visor on and a BEAUTIFUL sherpa, named Maurine, Miles for short.  I am wearing black shorts.  I will be coming in no earlier than 10:45 and hopfully no later than 11:30 ish.  My money is on 5:19 for my time :)

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh we are meeting tonight at the packet pick-up at 6:20ish and having dinner at The Brick Oven about 7:15.  They would not accept reservations so if you get there first, get a table for 10.  Lets use the name MILES :)  "Miles, party of 10" or should we go for "Miles, party of 26.2"?

Best of luck on your race. I'm sure you will exceed your own expectations. Say Hi to everyone for me as I won't be there. I'll be suffering in the Wahsatch Steeplchase, hoping not to slip off and die on the rocks atop Little Black Mountain. Apparently, the smart runners are all down with you.

Can't wait to see how you do! You are soooo ready.

I am confused by your goal... the whole "no earlier than 10:45 and hopfully no later than 5:30 ish." I haven't been able to keep up with the blog lately so I haven't read about your time goals. (Although I hear you shouldn't even have one for your first marathon... but I think I disagree.)

I am so excited for your first marathon! Woo hoo!

I really like the "Miles party of 26.2."

Thank you guys :) I just got back from pigging out at a local Chinese restaurant and guess what my fortune cookie said..."You will be pleasantly surprised very soon". That is the BEST fortune cookie I have ever had! (think I should not have had SO much food :)

I am SOO excited :) I think I keep saying that :)

From Maurine/Tarzan on Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 15:33:26 from 63.255.172.2

Miles says: Just think - this time tomorrow you will have had 2 hours or more to bask in the glory of finishing your first marathon.

From Smooth on Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 15:41:40 from 207.200.116.8

AWESOME FORTUNE!!! WOOHOO!!! I LOVE Chinese food!

From marion on Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 16:02:13 from 71.219.54.130

Miles- you just made me cry :)

Smooth- Chinese food is probably the BEST food in the WHOLE world! David and my brother always talk about how when they get some more wives that they are going to choose them by the kind of food they can cook. So far they have settled on, Chinese, Indian and Thai. They are such DORKS!!! It makes my SIL really mad, I just laugh at them... as if they could trick another woman into marrying them ;D

From leslie peterson on Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 17:04:25 from 76.23.61.78

GOOD LUCK Good luck Good LUCK! I feel like you're a big sister to me :-D Only I am a good little brother, not one of those mean ones that tries to tie your shoes together at the starting line of the marathon so you do a face plant. Remember to double knot your shoes and most importantly.....

HAVE FUN OUT THERE! MARATHONS ARE THE GREATEST EXPERIENCES EVER!

From Merri on Sat, Jun 13, 2009 at 09:17:24 from 207.88.76.69
