I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Nice bike ride this morning.  We are off to 6th grade graduation, lunch with our graduate, then the temple this afternoon and THEN to a dance/party for the 6th graders.   Busy day :)

I think I am settled on the "I Can Tri" in Sandy in September.  It is a sprint and I am going to work on getting my whole family to do it with me :)  Wish me luck!!!

Last night I did 3 sets of 25 arm things, bicept curls and 20 push ups and some yoga.

Have fun at 6th grade graduation. Is the dance/party for the 6th graders something that the school is sponsoring? We had cake at the school after graduation and that was it. I did take the kid out to lunch afterwards, and then he went to a party/sleep-over at a friend's house that evening.

We had a 6th grad graduation at my house too! From whence the song "Unwritten" and "Graduation Song" have been listned too at least 100 times. Have fun!

Hey you guys!!!! Are we going to get together after UVM??? Do you want me to get reservations at a burger or pizza joint? Y'all could come down to my house for a BBQ (abt 15-17 minutes south of the finish line). any thoughts???

Graduation was GREAT! Kate BAWLED! She won "the most likely to marry an Astronaut" We are not sure why, but it could be cool ;)

The dance/party is put on by one of Kate's friends mom. Some of the parents are in a super huge tiff about it, how it is very inappropriate. I am guessing they have never been to a 6th grade dance. It's more like a 6th grade "giggle and snicker" with food. I actually think there may be more parents there than kids ;)

A triathlon sounds like fun--for you! I don't like to bike or swim. What a great way to give the running legs a break though. I am counting down the days to your marathon.

Marion - you can call them arm swings - that is what my trainer called them.

I'm game for something after the UVM. We have to celebrate your first marathon, Scott's BQ, and my first sub 5 hour marathon (in my dreams).
