I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

St George News-

LUZ BQ'd!!!!  I am SO proud of you, Luz!  You are my hero.

Scott BQ'd !!!!

Kelli got a 3:22!!!  Oh man, Kelli, you are SO bloody fast.  Are your feet all bloody?? :)

Mac got a 3:05!!!!!  HOLY COW!!!!

30 minutes on the treadmill walking at 6 incline, speed low.  40 minutes yoga and then massage.  I have been reading how to do self masage to break up scar tissue.  I have learned a lot and feel very confident that I can get rid of this scar tissue and keep it from plaguing my life ;)  I am still hunting for a stationary bike.

My feet were not bloody until I visited the medical tent and had the pop all of my blisters and try to fix the mess that is my feet.

THANKS--you are awesome, too. BTW, I THINK my issue might be a side effect to my antibiotic. It is one of the listed side effects, so i am not taking it any more!!

Marion thank you for being my cheering section. Kelli, Scott, and Walter all did an amazing job. I can not believe the caliper of talent and endurance we have the privilege of knowing. By comparison, my small accomplishment is minuscule --but thank you for recognizing how monumental it was to me and for sharing that moment with me. You were the second person I called to say I had beat my own goal by 3 minutes. You are a good friend, and an amazing woman. Let me know how the hunt for the bike goes. I have a really cheap stationary and it's fine, but I'd really like a good quality tension bike. Also, I look forward to having you teach me how to soften the scar tissue in the piriformis region!
