I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Swim League finals are FINALLY over!  6.5 hours Wednesday night, 6 hours Friday night, and 6 hours today.  The kids all did GREAT and had a TON of fun.  I am pooped out!   And, wouldn't you know it, we are off to the pool for an afternoon with Michelle and her sweet boys.  I love how kids become the very best friends in a matter of minutes.

I am hoping to run this evening.  My knee feels GREAT!  I am so pleased :)

800 m IM :)  It felt really hard this evening.  I was pretty much dying after the first 50.

You're all a bunch of fishy fishies. My biggest boy is at the pool all day, but he gets in the water only if he has to. He comes home smelling like the pool anyway.

YEAH to freedom!!! Your kids did awesome, but I am sure you are ready for a break.

And Michelle's hair looks great! And her house looks clean, what is up with that?

You are such a good mom, Marion. I'd whine about all that time spent at a pool.

I think I will sleep like a ROCK tonight :) The boys should be out at any minute. David went to go get pizza for the boys and the hoards of teenagers congregated and STARVING in our basement! :) Oh, I got an 800 IM in at the pool after Michelle left and when David got there :) It was so fun kicking out people from the lap lane and having it all to myself :)

The knee feels fine. I may try to two miles. I may just pass out and go to bed. This much outside makes me SO tired!

Kelli- yes, Michelle's house is SPOTLESS, just like yours!!!

Carolyn- Pool smell is better than "little boy" smell :)

Maurine- I tried to whine, but I took a nap and all the whine fell out of me :)

My house is only spotless when I know people are coming over!

Marion, you are the woman! You are a great mom and an amazing athlete. I couldn't do an IM if my life depended on it! How do you even attempt to do a butterfly stroke? I've watched my daughter learn it...but it's greek to me!!

Glad to hear the ITB is letting up, just don't let it fool you into thinking its okay. It will come back to bite you at the most inopportune times!! Keep at the exercises, they will make it go away for good.

WOW! What a great swim team mom. CONGRATS to the kids for a great swim season and kudos to mom for all the support. You are amazing! Have a great week.
