I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

The kids were up last night throwing up so I am doing laundry ALL day! They are so funny. I wouldn't have even known, but the bathroom light came on at 1:20am and found my baby (3) getting a towel to clean up his bed so he could go back to sleep. I thought he could use some help ;) I cleaned him and his bed up and laid him down. He wanted a new pillow, so I grabbed the second one under Mac (5) only to find out that the reason his pillows were stacked was because he had thrown up on his pillow and just put another one on top of the mess and gone back to sleep. I guess my kids are more independent than I thought. Funny little fellows!

I am hoping for a run right when my daughter gets home from school at 2pm.  The only problem is that I have to be in Mapleton by 3:30 for my cousins wedding.  It will be close.  It may be a short run.  I'd hit the treadmill, but my ham has been whiny and I don't want to really make it mad by getting on the DREADmill ;)

Have a great day!  Hey, we are planning on a run at Memory Grove, SLC, the third Saturday in April.  Please let me know what you think.  Leslie says is is BEAUTIFUL!  Pass the word along.

*** just ran 2 baby miles. Hitting the shower ;)

17 push ups, 50 crunches, 20 side crunches

So sorry to hear about your sick kids. Wash your hands a lot so you don't get sick.

What brave little soldiers you have! Sorry for the gross pukey laundry. Hey, if you have to miss your run for a wedding, it is OKAY!

The SLC run should be fun!

Sick kids, dad recovering from quadruple bypass surgery..., what else you got?

Holy crap... or should I say throw-up. LOL poor little guys, I hope they get feeling better soon. Good luck on getting a run in, sometimes it's tough.

Can you do the Memory Grove run on teh 11th or 18th? I have the WRC 1/2 on the 4th and 25K on the 25th.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 15:15:56 from 71.213.111.77

I can't do the 11th (Ford is getting baptized :) The 18th is fine for me, but I think Leslie is doing a bike ride that day. Aren't you doing Moab too? Wow- you are a race girl :)

From leslie on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 15:20:41 from 76.23.61.78

Hey, you guys go ahead and do what works for your busy schedules, if I can I will tag along.

From Smooth on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 16:59:02 from 71.36.65.79

Poor little fellas throwing up at night. I hope they're feeling better now. Man, how'd you handle all this stress? Nice day for a wedding. Best wishes to you and your family!

I have a 16 miler on the 4th. It being Conference Weekend, I think I'll stay close to home. Memory Grove run sounds like a fun one, I'll have to catch you guys another time.

From Burt on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 17:14:52 from 68.76.197.194

Thank you, Smooth, for getting a Billy Idol song stuck in my head, that will probably be the rest of the day.

We've had a round of barf. Man, you have had a lot. Good for getting out there and doing something. I'm a big fan of 'anything better than nothing.' I hope all is going well with your dad. Here's to clorox and BRAT (the diet, not the kids!). Good luck.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 23:48:28 from 71.213.111.77

Thanks guys. My dad is still recovering well and I am hoping that life is on the down swing. The wedding was very nice and it was great to see my cousins. It was fun to go alone and not worry about all the crazy kids running around :) I am hoping for a few weeks of boring :)

From leslie on Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 23:53:38 from 76.23.61.78

Boring Rocks! Give me smooth sailing any day! Glad you had fun at the wedding and that your dad is doing well.

I think its cool how something like 2 miles can feel like a real accomplishment when things are going crazy in the rest of your life.

Nice job.

From Marion on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 11:11:11 from 71.213.111.77

Yeah I know Jun- I was going to just get in the shower and skip the run, but then just knew I would feel much better if I did it :) I love running !

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 14:46:32 from 71.219.76.202

Sorry the kids are sick! I hope it is short lived!!

That run sounds great to me!
