I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

PS- I am in a whiny bad mood about not being able to run :(:::::::::::::::::  I almost went against Dr's orders and ran today anyway.  I stayed in bed until about 2 when David dragged me to Costco.   My hip was hurting this morning a bit more than it has been, so I skipped the bike ride.  I read Shape magazine.  I did go get some new running tights at Runners Corner today :)  My first pair.  I need to fix dinner, but I REALLY want to go out to dinner.  I'd better publish before another gush of whine hits...

I am really sorry you can not run. But just remember that this is only temporarily and you will make it through this, I promise! Remember the glass is half full. Try doing other exercise if you can to take your mind off the your problem. Anyway, have a good night!!!

So sorry Marion. It is soooo stinky to not be able to run, and to not know when you'll be able to again. And it is soo hard to eat right when you can't exercise alot. We should so a bike/run this coming week. I can do a late morning on Tuesday.

Hang in there, Marion. Your hip will get better. It just takes time. It's hard while you're going through it but some day it will be a distant memory.

Maybe I'll come give you a hug in a few weeks.

You guys are SO sweet :) I know things will get better, but for a control freak like me, I hate the "wait and Heal" approach :(

Michelle- Tuesday sounds GREAT :)

Carolyn- I sure hope that you can make it out here :)

Oh Marion I am so sorry! Hang in there it will get better! I know it is so hard to be patient--injuries stink! No hour of yoga today?

From marion on Sun, Sep 27, 2009 at 20:01:11 from 71.213.105.213

Hi April- I did get in an hour+ of yoga last night. I felt much better afterwords :) Today I am feeling a bit perkier :) I have hope that Brady will let me run this week. I see him Wed, but need to move it to Tuesday. Oh, how glorious it would be to run. Up until friday I was doing great pretending to enjoy my time off from running. that house of cards came crashing down friday afternoon. Oh well :( soon enough :)

Hang in there girl!! I didn't run on Saturday either - hoping it would be more beneficial to my back (although the eating probably wasn't to my hips!). The time off to heal will help you come back stronger and faster! You're doing GREAT with the yoga and keeping focused despite the waiting!
