I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

1/2 mile walk. stretch. 2 mile run ~11:45 pace. 1/4 mile walk. Stretch, roll. blog.

I skipped yesterday for a myriad of shady reasons.  #1 my knee has been tender.  I was not sure if it was from a major scraping session or for more sinister reasons.  #2 I was already to dresses to run and then we decided to go shopping once and for all, never to go again this year.  My poor kids are going to starve to DEATH!

There was no knee pain today at all and I suspect that there would not have been any yesterday too.  My judgment was clouded and confused.  I should have just tried running and called it off if any pain has surfaced.  I will never know.  I suppose that it is not a bad idea to repeat the same mileage as last week for two weeks.  Slow and steady wins the race :)

CONGRATULATIONS, Michelle, on your AWESOME time trial today !!!!  Rock Star!

Love it, "shady reasons". You get some vit D with your run today?

I am so glad your knee is ok.

No- I am TOO cold :( I will take it in pill form :) They are the tiniest little pills :)

I'm glad about the knee. This whole injury is making me NUTS. I feel like I am seriously going to go CRAZY before I am back to 5-6 miles a day. This should not be this complicated.

How's the bod?

Happy day - shopping done, no knee pain and exciting news to share. Sorry these injuries are getting you down...but I understand - really, it hasn't been nearly as long for me and I'm going crazy myself!! Keep up your hard work.

Slow and steady does win the race. Keep going, my friend.
