I am the self proclaimed FEARLESS leader of the FRB's RED HOT PINK CHICKS!!! Our Motto's are- 2010 "Diamonds and Titanium, Thats what we are made of!"  2009 "We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chicks!!!" 

The next official RHPC event is the RHPC 1/2(5k, 10k, 10 miler) July 16th, 2011.   PLEASE join us !!!

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

2.75 on the DREADMILL!!!  I woke up at 5:30 to go swimming, went to the bathroom and went back to bed until 8:15.  I cannot make good decisions at 5:30 am.  I am SO easily swayed by any argument.  I am WEAK!  I am a follower!  My bad evil lazy side has no trouble beating up my good, smart, hard working side.  Wow, I never realized that I had this huge bully in me, making me do whatever it wants!  I am a slave to myself.  Man- what an epiphany!  So, how do I get Evil Marion to SHUT THE HECK UP!!!

push ups, sit ups, County Swim Team Finals.  The first night of three :)  Each of our swimmers is going to a different meet.  I'd better get moving.

WOW! Busy night. Glad you got the TM miles in at least! Hey, I think the best cure for telling the evil inner to be quiet is medication - hahahaha, okay that just came to me; seriously, it's getting someone to go with you or some sort of accountability. It helps keep me honest!

RAD- you are SO right! As soon as my friend is better, I am going to guilt her into running with me. She is just a titch faster than me, and I need that :) I think I will start introducing myself to the other runners that I see every morning. There are a few I might be able to catch :)

PS I think that is why I am loving bootcamp, they MAKE you go and torture and humiliate you if you are late or screw up. It is working for me. Maybe you just need a large stick, or like Miles said chocolate!! You will find the right trigger, mine is a gun to my flippin' head!

Go to sleep in your running clothes. Have everything, shoes, swim cap and towel all set. So all you have to do is sleep walk out the door. DO NOT give the evil Marion a chance to talk. OR...

Have an angel friend knocking on your door to haul you out for a run. That works every time.

Marion, this cracks me up because I have an evil Leandra too! I don't know why I even allow myself to make decisions that early in the morning- it will always end badly!
