I am really suffering from the lack of swimming.  I can feel a real difference in my aerobic fitness.  Springville has early morning lap swim and is less money than the Comfort Inn here in Payson.  The drive may not be worth it though.  The Comfort Inn is also only 50 feet long.  Springville is a real (crappy) lap pool.  Hmmmmm....

A VERY tiny bit of soreness in my ITB today.  Nothing really.

That's interesting that the swimming helps your aerobic fitness so much. I'm sorry that you don't have a more convenient pool. There's a pool less than a mile from my house, and my son works there, but I can't go there because I'm not a member. I can't swim worth a darn anyway.

I know there is a huge movement here on the blog to discount the positive effects of swimming on running, but for me it seems to help a TON. My brother has a pool, I want one :)

I know how you feel about swimming... I can't run worth a darn :p

Do you have to pay to swim at the hotel?

Yep- There is a monthly pass for $37

You need to move to Lehi. I don't swim but we have a GREAT pool here.

Here's an idea ... why don't we talk Smooth into talking Prez that he should have a pool built in their back yard. All Smooth has to do is mention something and Prez is more than happy to spoil her rotten!!! (Although we all know that Smooth deserves every bit of spoiling). Then ... we all move by Smooth!!!

GREAT idea Teena! I do, however, think that Larry will not believe for one minute that it is Smooths idea, given her silly fear of the water ;) Forget the moving next door, I am going to move in :) She can cook me wonderful food :) and take care of me.

Glad there was little to no ITB pain and that your aerobic fitness is keeping up with the swimming! I like to swim, but just hate the getting ready, being wet and yucky chlorine feeling afterward, even after the shower :(

Can't wait to see how you ROCK your tri! See you next monday!!!
