I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Nice miles today :)  The last .4 I stepped it up and the knee said, "Hey, what do you think you are doing???"  I think I will keep it nice and easy for the next while.  I'd like to race the 5k at Onion Days, so if I play nice, I bet my knee will let me do it :)

On a more disgusting note, David just pulled a 12" hair clog out of the bathroom sink :p  My 5 year old came to tell me and said, "Dad almost barthed!!!"  He can't say barf, it's barthed.  Of course, David saved it to show me :p

Oh, and tomorrow ALL of my children will be in school from 9:00-11:30.  Four different schools.  David even has the day off  :D  Hmmmmmm, what ever shall we do????  (Burt- keep it too yourself!!!)

Two hour and 25 minute run, right? Come on what else would a woman runner want to do : D Certainly cleaning is up there on the list but it is overrated.

Enjoy your kids-in-school time. It used to be my dream to be a stay-at-home mom with all of my kids in school, but I have given up on the dream.

So that's what goes on when all your kids go off to school! I'm excited for those days! Alone time is quite rare. We might have 2 houses for a month so maybe we'll make use of that! We are closing tomorrow. Moving sometime in Sept. Before or after my marathon, not sure yet.

I was just reflecting what would happen next year when my baby does pre-school. Interesting thoughts :)

Glad the ITB cooperated with the run, I'm sure you'll be well recovered by Onion days...you better be! :)
