45 min stationary bike.  1/4 mile walk. 1 mile run (11mm). 1/4 cool down.  45 min Yoga.  A little niggle in my right hip flexor.  It was actually exhilarating to run today.  It was a TOTAL high!  It felt SO good to kick my bum!  The back and neck have been doing well. :)  My left knee that was hit by the car was weird yesterday.  I am hoping it's nothing :)

HI MARION!!!!! Just coming by to say hi!! Looks like you are healing and getting back into running again. So happy to hear it!!!!

I am thinking of trying WW again, do you know of a good teacher in SLC? I tried 2 teachers afew months ago, and was so bummed I just quit. I know there are some good ones out there, but I don't know of any. HELP!!!

From marion on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 22:25:53 from 71.213.113.50

Yes, Maam! What center do you go to?

From Smooth on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 22:39:39 from 67.2.111.170

NICE all around workouts and run! So happy to hear your back and neck are feeling better.

From marion on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 22:47:40 from 71.213.113.50

Thanks Smooth! I am having a REALLY hard time being patient and letting my back heal at it's own pace. The doc says 90 days is very typical and to just go forward nice and slow while all the muscles rebuild their strength. It's hard to be good, but I've pushed it and PAID dearly :p The doc is pretty sure that I'll be healed enough to attempt UVM. It is fun and exciting to have a goal to work toward. What is your next race?

From Smooth on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 23:04:58 from 67.2.111.170

Yes, it's hard to be patient!

I am so excited you're gonna run UVM! I loved the new course. You will like it! I am signed up too. It will be so FUN!

I need to run one St George runner series race, perhaps in March; then next Marathon is Boston in April. Do you have any race planned besides UVM?

From marion on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 23:08:28 from 71.213.113.50

Nope, maybe a half, but who knows :) I'm trying to chill ;) I do have the 3rd times a charm entry for St George. I'm thinking about it too :)

From Smooth on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 23:24:27 from 67.2.111.170

I would definitely take advantage of the 3rd time's a charm SG entry! :)

Meanwhile take it easy t'make sure everything heals up nicely. Happy chill'n! :)

I'm glad you're taking it slowly and listening to your body! It's great to have a run that just FEELS good. I will be at UVM this year AND SGM, so I say definitely go for both!! :)

From leslie peterson on Mon, Nov 29, 2010 at 23:58:56 from 174.52.158.81

I went to the one on 33rd South, but I could do Sandy or Draper.

YES! Do St. George!!!

Have you been to Gina's meetings Tuesday morning? She ROCKS!

From Kelli on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 13:13:02 from 71.219.65.246

HI MARION!!!! I have been thinking about you a ton lately but am not the greatest blogger! Glad to hear the back is doing better. AND, YES, you totally can not miss out on the 3rd times the charm entry!! It is the BEST race ever. I love it (when it is not hot).

Have a great day!!!!!

Are they changing up WW at all for the next year? I have been a good girl and weighed in every month until November. I completely flaked out. So I am trying to decide if it is worth paying the 9 bucks to keep going. I like the stuff I get there, but it is a long drive and a major pain in the butt!!!!

From marion on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 14:24:16 from 71.213.113.50

Kelli- the new program ROCKS! It is 100% different than before. The points are not the same at all. I LOVE it! :) It's up to you :) If you are maintaining just like you want and don't need the extra accountability you get from weighing in each month, then skip it. If you find you need it, then we will be there for you :)

From leslie peterson on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 14:25:42 from 174.52.158.81

Thanks for the tip on Gina, if I decide to bite the bullet, I will check out her class!!!

From marion on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 14:43:42 from 71.213.113.50

Her meeting is worth the $$. She is FANTASTIC! She actually owns the WW franchise in Utah, nevada, Idaho and wyoming.

From leslie peterson on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 14:46:53 from 174.52.158.81

Thank you!!! That is nice to know!! Enjoy the holidays Marion!! I will let you know if I sign up.

From Kelli on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 22:59:02 from 71.219.65.246

Hmmmmmm, it is not so much that I need the accountability (I blog my weight so i have that already), but I like the program!! If it is different, I better go! So, do I need to sit through a class, or will they just give me the stuff when i weigh in? AND when will they have it so i do not go in too early this month?????

From marion on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 23:10:02 from 71.213.113.50

The new PROGRAM is fantastic! You'd need to hit a meeting too. All of the regular meetings are teaching the new program as well as the new member meeting. They will give you all of the new program materials :)

From Kelli on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 23:12:06 from 71.219.65.246

Do you know which week they are teaching it, or is it the entire month?

Hey, Les, time to join. I need to go to a meeting it sounds like and I hate to go alone!!!!!

From marion on Wed, Dec 01, 2010 at 23:22:12 from 71.213.113.50

THis week the regular meeting is all about the basics of the new program. there is a new member meeting after each regular meeting. It will be the same for the rest of this year and next.
