Nice run.  Twisted my ankle on a rock :(  I sure hope it is nothing.  I am going to ice it.  It does not hurt :)  I got up early and ran.  Will is still asleep, his first whole night sleep since last Thursday.  Last night he actually smiled a few times and he walked around a bit and picked up 2 cars and flew them a few feet through the air :)  Zoom zoom!  My boy is coming back :)  We shall see what today brings :)

It looks like the Red Hot Pink Chicks will be hosting their first 1/2 Marathon on July 11th down Provo Canyon.  Everyone is invited to run it.  There will be totally AWSOME(lame) prizes and we will be eating breakfast at Ihop at the Riverwoods afterwards.  If there are any family members who would like to be volunteers for a couple water stops, that would be cool :)  I am looking into t-shirts.  So far the consensus is hot pink tanks.  Yes, guys are our welcome honored guests so we just might consider a red one too for the men who can't quite pull off a hot pink singlet ;D  I'll let you know the price.  Meanwhile, keep an eye out for great technical shirts that are perfect for the RHPCs :)  Target has black running skirts with a bit of pink on them for the girls :D

Also there will be a RHPC run April 11th at Memory Grove in SLC.  PM me if you would like more info :)  Leslie is coming up with the route.  We will meet at ~7am, probably :)

Lot's of smiles today... it must be a good sign :)

Good miles, sorry to hear you twisted that ankle. :(

Count me in on the races. If I remember. April 11 and July 11. I hope I can make it.

Hi Jon- You will LOVE the runs :) How is Kelly??

From leslie on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 12:20:02 from 76.23.61.78

It may be winter outside but you are making me think spring with runs planned and pink tank tops!

Glad Will is flying his cars around the house, that is a good sign!

"Nice run. Twisted my ankle..." Yeah, that sounds pretty nice.

From Mandy on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 12:54:34 from 206.251.43.221

Sorry about the ankle. Quick question on the run-isn't Ford getting baptized that day? What's the timing you're looking for everything?

From montelepsy on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 13:43:18 from 64.235.121.163

I won't be able to run it, but I can't wait to hear about the prizes. I'm totally into all things lame.

From Marion on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 14:10:28 from 71.213.123.102

Mandy- the stake canceled the baptism :( He is getting baptized on the 25th of April now ;D

From Smooth on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 16:38:39 from 71.36.65.79

I'm glad Will is BACK flying cars and all. Beware of rocks these days, the road still has lotsa gravel (from snowplow sanding in the winter). I twisted on a rock on Sat. too; no damage done.

Hey, I have a 12 miler on April 11, my last medium long run before Boston. Depending on what my son and hubby has that morning. May be I can get a ride up?

From Marion on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 16:51:09 from 71.219.59.196

Yes Smooth- we can grab you at the Chevron at the Lehi exit? :) 12 will be perfect for that day :)

From Metcalf Running on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 21:50:22 from 71.219.123.68

Glad your baby is doing better, I hope this is the last, with spring almost here you might get lucky :)

Will was down right happy today and besides looking like a starved refugee, he acted totally normal today :)

My ankle really started to hurt about 3:30. I am icing it and taking advil. IF it is still sore tomorrow I am going into Dr Brady. I am taking tomorrow off for healing. If I have a great day tomorrow, I will try a run thursday. If it is still perfect, I will still run Saturday. Anyway, that is the plan :)

From tarzan on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 09:33:58 from 63.255.172.2

Take a couple of days off if you need to and get that ankle healing.

I have added both races/runs to my calendar. Who is planning the course for the half marathon? We could probably stash a couple of coolers as aid stations so that we don't have to run with packs on.

I actually have a pink shirt from last year's Buffalo run. I might have to dig it out. :)
