Recover from being hit by a car while I was running in early October 2010.  Be healed enough to run my planned races.

I am the self proclaimed FEARLESS leader of the FRB's RED HOT PINK CHICKS!!! Our Motto's are- 2010 "Diamonds and Titanium, Thats what we are made of!"  2009 "We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chicks!!!" 

The next official RHPC event is the RHPC 1/2(5k, 10k, 10 miler) July 16th, 2011.   PLEASE join us !!!

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

I don't know my total time because I forgot to start my garmin for the first 2 miles :(  I was trying not to look at it for the whole run.  The only reason I looked at it was because I thought I had heard a beep.  I am dork!  

36:57 for the last three miles, ave 12:40, best 9:09, Splits- 13:13, 12:43, 12:00

My goal for this run was to just have a nice time and not worry about pace or anything.  I had a nice time.  I am off to WW with my SIL Barbara who is viviting from CA.  Then we are going to meet MichelleL for lunch.

Leslie- I am not going to be making it in the AM. I have been playing all day with my SIL and so I need to be home with the chillin's for as much as possible tomorrow :)

Hey, that's how my husband talk too, "chillin's" for children. Is that a Utah thing? O my heck! Stinks how you have to make up your girl-out time with extra chillin's time. OK, not stinks, but that's part of being a mom. Have fun with the chillin's.

I don't know if Chillin' is Utahn- I'm not from here, but I could have picked it up ;) Yeah- I don't "have" to make up for girl time out, but I try not to let my hobbies rule to roost too much. I am a very "unnatural" mom and so I have to check myself a ton to make sure that I am actually being a mom and not just a boarder. I'm afraid that I'd go and run with y'all every day and never come home again. It has been SO long since I have had a hobby that is ALL about me :) I am sure loving it!

Amen girl!!! I was a mom forever. The chillin's are more like boarders now that they are grown. I wish I HAD a hobby. I think I would be a happier mom if I did. My chillin's don't know what to think of my new hobby. I have more medals and trophies than them, imagine that. And I am loving it while it lasts.
