I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

I forgot to blog this run.  It was a HORRIBLE run.  Ok, maybe not HORRIBLE, but definitely at C-.  The roades were covered in frozen slush.  I'll call is sl-ice-sh.  For the last mile I could run in the road and then hit the sl-ice-sh while cars passed.  I also had to take another VPB, which is irritating :p

Oh, I saw Brady on Monday.  he thinks my knee is no big deal.  I can still run!  HIP HIP Hooray!!!  He wants to me to lay off some of my hip stretches and then see him in two weeks.

I'm sorry you had a horrible run, but that's good news about your knee.

I had to run and snow and slush this morning, but it wasn't really frozen. It was quite wet.

nice job slushing through those miles Marion. I'm also SO glad your knee is well and no problems!! When is your first scheduled race?

So good to see you yesterday. You are as always, inciteful and hilarious. I've launched into my 100 grams of protein or bust program. I hope you got out today (it was actually SUNNY!!!!). We may make it through winter after all. I'm totally looking forward to May 1st and the Provo Half! Hope your knees, hips, piriformis, etc get strong and won't bug you too much in the month to come. You're rockin'. Keep it up.

I even left out the wind :) oh, there was some slush that was regular slush :) It was one of those runs that you get home and are quite sure that you are TOTALLY AWESOME for surviving :) I am so ready to complain about the heat :D

RAD- I am running hte Provo half May 1st :)

LUZ- are you running the provo 1/2???? If you are and you are still recovering from Boston, wanna run 10mm with me??? AND, I had the BEST time yesterday! Thanks for meeting me and brightening my LONG work day :) We will survive this OVER burdensome bullying winter and live to whine about the heat in a few months! I can't wait!!!

I won't be running it, I will be cheering you from my my back yard. I'll be stuffing my face and cheering with my mouth full from the hammock :) (I think the route goes right along the river trail). Anytime you have long lunch times, give me a call. Especially now the weather's better we can walk! I had a thought, do you know how to use MapMyRun? I don't , but I wonder if it would be helpful in finding a Provo River Route.

How about Vivian Park and walk down to Bridal Veil and back? I think that's abpit 2.5 all the way down...and there are parks on either end of the route.
