I woke up at 5am and decided to take a run to make sure the legs still work ;)  I ran 4 miles nice and slow :)  I then met JoyceLynn for a ride.  I had NO idea that we would be gone than long.  It was an AWESOME challenging ride.  I am going to do that with her for the rest of the summer after the marathon.  Killer up hill.. well a lot of it and then KILLER down hill and a good share of it was flatish.  With two days of biking and two days of swimming AND 4 days of running, I should be ready for the tri by September.  I want to increase my fittness, but not do too many running miles this summer.

Have a great day.  I am falling asleep :)

Way to go, girl! That's not usually the decision I made if I wake up at 5:00 am, unless I was planning to get up at 5:00 am.

You're quickly becoming a triathlete.

It's fun to have a friend in tow. Nice job on your workout. I am going to lift some serious appetizers at Relief Society tonight as my exercise :D (picture me lifting a jalapeno popper and deep breathing - lifting your food to your mouth has got to count for a mile a meal, right?)

Nice wokout today!! You will rock the marathon and I think it's great that you will be doing the tri. It looks like you are on your way to accomplishing those goals :)

Carolyn- I usually try to go back to sleep, but then it dawned on me, if I am awake, it must be God's way of telling me to RUN!!! ;)

Michelle- I knew we were kindred spirits :)

Lori- Thanks :) Get your family to do the Tri too. Will Katie swim?

April- Me too :)

Rachel- I am going to do the I Can Tri in Sandy in September. I am hoping to get the whole family doing it to.

Maurine- I am off to take a nap. I have been taking 20-30 minute ones when ever it crosses my mind :) We are going to have so much fun at UVM :) I just bought all of my Gu :)

This is your taper? LOL

From marion on Fri, Jun 05, 2009 at 09:55:10 from 71.213.119.157

Maurine- I know- I thought the ride would be about an hour- 8 miles or so, but it was at least 13 miles and we were gone for and hour and 40 minutes. Boy, was I wrong ;) Jocelyn kicked my BUTT!!!

Smooth- Cool, I will be the queen of something besides laundry ;)
