Michelle makes the BEST Bourbon Chocolate Pecan pie.  HOLY COW!!!  I am going to make it for Thanksgiving :)  YUMMY!!!

I waited for the high temp at 1pm today for my run.  I need to get the vit D whenever I can.  I did run a bit more than planned.  A friend of mine, stopped me on the road to try this "healthy" chocolate of hers.  She wants me to sell it.  It tastes like chocolate flavored wood.  I don't think I'll be joining her mlm team ;)  Anyway, the run felt really good, but the stop messed up my laps and hence, I ran a bit too much :(.  Next week I get to run 2 mile for 3 days and one day, 1.  Brady said I could increase by 20% each week until about 35 miles.  Man, I love running.  It makes me so sad to hear the little beep telling me my miles are done :(

mile -1 10:20, mile 2- 11:30 (stiff head wind)

it is on recipe Zar #32740. It is AMAZING! It only has 5,491 calories :D I don't like Pecan pie, but this stuff is over the top!

Oh Good, I always make sure my pie has at least that many calories :) ha ha

thanks, I'll check it out! My husband LOVES pecan pie and combine that with chocolate and I may get the wife-of-the-year award :) or he may just not complain about me dragging him to New Moon tonight. either way . . .

I saved a piece for my husband and I hope it makes it until he gets home in a few hours. I am having to fight off the little beasts :)

Your hubby is a good man to go with you. Mine would have gone, but we left the dudes home to tend the little dudes ;)

You are inching your way back to being Runner Girl again, by spring you will be knocking out the miles.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I am pretty excited :) I just figured out my runs for the next 2 months and I will be back to 35 miles by the end of January, if I can keep the hips at bay :) Then I can start to build up my Saturday miles to get ready for the Riverton half at the end of march. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I'm so glad you're getting back to running. Things seem to be looking up. BTW, chocolate and healthy don't really go together.

Ok, clearly I've been away too long. You've turned your running blog into a post up of hunky men with great lats, and pecan pie recommendations. Yummy. That's exactly what I needed this Monday morning. Thanks for the lift! (Mchelle posted that recipe, and I'm totally making it this year with my apple pies). I think if I come running, I'll bring hot apple cider (I've been frequenting Allred's Farm's recently and have been downing it by the gallon--because really who can get enough sugar in their food?).
