Raining, snowing, back still twinges, Kate's 12th birthday, BIL & SIL coming this afternoon, cleaning house, Ashley laying on couch, need to get cupcakes for Kate's class, need to shower, brush teeth, make Kate's birthday cake... the list goes on and on :)

I will get out and bike if it works out, but I am not too worried about it. I need to do 15 miles tomorrow. Anyone want to do it with me? I'm willing to go to the Provo river trail or maybe the JRP :) I have a route planned for down Payson canyon and into Salem if anyone is up for a field trip. I have never gone 15 miles before!!! YIKES!!!!

Marion,

Rachel and I are meeting at 7am to run the Lehi JRP. I have to do 16-17. Would love to have you join us.

Happy Birthday to Kate!!! So fun to be a Beehive!!! GOOD LUCK with all the birthday fun. I have to clean house too. MIL and nephew and family are coming for conference.

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 13:52:32 from 76.23.61.78

Keep me posted girls, I need to do 15 miles tomorrow as well, I would be up for the JRP or Provo River Parkway. I think the weather will be crap, but oh, well, so what is new?

Marion, good luck on your busy busy day, you are a good mama! I think it is crosstraining to the max!

From Smooth on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 13:58:01 from 71.36.78.130

Hey Leslie,

I'm gonna run come rain or shine on the Lehi JRP!!! We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chics-runners!!!

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 14:01:05 from 76.23.61.78

Sounds like fun to me! I can sweep the course!

Marion, are you up for it? I am up for either JRP or PRP, but I doubt I am up for the long drive to Payson tomorrow.

From Mandy on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 14:13:06 from 206.251.47.183

Good luck on the long run tomorrow!!

From Marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 14:18:01 from 71.213.116.165

I am in- 7 am at the JRp parking lot? Les and I can be the really cute slow chicks :) I would love to do it at 12 mm. Is that OK les? I just want to get done before noon ;)

Smooth- could you give me the directions again?? Thanks :)

From Marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 14:20:54 from 71.213.116.165

Do you think I can get this printed on our race shirts ? "We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chics-runners!!!"

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 14:56:17 from 76.23.61.78

I think that would make an awesome shirt!

Marion, a 12mm is perfect! I would like to be done early as well. See ya there.

From Smooth on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 16:35:01 from 71.36.85.29

WOOHOO!!! We're rockin'!!!

K, here's the driving direction coming from Payson on I-15:

1. Take the 1200 West exit (Exit 282)

2. Turn left (west), go under the freeway onto SR89 (State St.)

3. Going south on SR89 to 1500 N (Chevron gas station on your right, I think there's a traffic light now)

4. Turn right (west) onto 1500 N.

5. Go west about 2 miles on 1500 N. JRP access is on the left just before the bridge.

See you at 7am. Do you think Corrinne wants to join us? I haven't seen her blog lately.

From RAD on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 17:04:05 from 67.166.99.8

Oh, I read Marion's post and was excited to tell her about JRP, but then found out I was behind the curve. YEA!! I'm so excited to run with you all. The BBK's are running at 5:30 and I just couldn't bear waking up at 4:30 another day this week :( - I'll see if I can grab any fun treats for us, since Kelli has soccer now and can't bring the good stuff :) SEE YOU ALL AT 7!!!

From Marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 17:32:29 from 71.213.116.190

Les- do you realize that smooth & RAchel are thinking, "12 mm... they will NEVER get done!!!!" ;D

Rachel- Treats sound GREAT!!! I'll see waht I can dig up ;)

Smooth- Thanks for the directions. Now that I read them, I remember how to get there :)

From RAD on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 17:45:33 from 67.166.99.8

Are you kidding??? I think anyone who is willing to keep their feet moving for 15 miles deserves a medal!! The first time I ran 16 (the longest past 13 I'd ever done and just a couple months ago) I was so excited just to finish. I'd rather have good company and run slow than run fast and be alone!! Running is a social event for me, not a competition :)

From Smooth on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 17:50:52 from 71.36.85.29

Seriously Marion!!! We are there to support each other and we will finish!!! We might be wet, cold and dead; but we will finish!!! I think hubby has some chocolate bars hidden somewhere. I'll see if I can con him into giving them up. Red-hot-pink-chicks braving the storm to run long deserve chocolates!!!, never mind the medals!

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 18:13:43 from 76.23.61.78

Fun times!!! I have no problem being the caboose! Party in the back!!! Maybe Maurine will come along and bike it, maybe Harold too! The more the merrier!!! Treats, hummmmm, I will have to see if I can find some too.

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 18:58:38 from 76.23.61.78

Hey, Maurine may run it with us!!!!

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 19:02:30 from 76.23.61.78

Is WAlter running? I have that magazine he wanted. Or is anyone going to be there that sees Walter, I have not met him.

From marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 19:32:04 from 71.219.53.61

Lux Lewis is going to come too. she is super fun :) I'll see you all there at 7am. I am picking Luz up in Provo at 6:40.

From marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 19:32:50 from 71.219.53.61

I meant to type Luz ;)

From marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 19:35:36 from 71.219.53.61

KSL says 80% chance of snow!!! YIKEs!!! Can Larry bring hot chocolate??? I will get some tonight :)

From Mandy on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 21:21:39 from 206.251.47.183

Hey, sounds like you're running close to our house. Y'all are welcome to come over when you're done running and have some hot chocolate! Tomorrow is even our semi-annual donut breakfast day so we can have some muffins or donuts waiting too if you want! Just let me know.

PS-Paige just tried to call and wish Kate Happy Birthday. She's very upset that, "KATE ISN'T THERE!!!!!!!!"

From leslie on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 21:44:31 from 76.23.61.78

I am feeling weak....donuts and hot chocolate!!!! Oh,YUM!!!

Marion, I just spoke to Maurine, she is on for tomorrow,I worry about her doing to much and told her to bring a blanket and a book incase she needs to cut the run short and hang out in the car. We will be there at 7:00 unless it is a super bad storm. I can take alittle snow, but if it is crazy, I will not show up, so if we are not there at 7:00 run without us. Hope to see you ALL tomorrow!!!

From tarzan on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 22:45:30 from 97.117.61.168

Gee - I love how everyone is talking about me behind my back.

From Marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 23:49:02 from 71.219.53.61

It's only because you have such a cute backside ;)

From Marion on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 23:50:47 from 71.219.53.61

Maurine- We will be running that 5 out nad back so if you want to stop at 10, we will be at the cars where you can warm up :) Slow is supposed to be helpful with ITB issues :)

From leslie on Sat, Apr 04, 2009 at 00:06:19 from 76.23.61.78

yeah Maurine!

We just watched 2 movies on the couch and I zonked out thru both of them, I feel like someone put sleeping pills in my nachos. Off to bed so I can wake up to run!

Good night everyone!

Hey sorry to tag this on the end of a long message, but someone is putting their blog address as mandy.fastrunningblog.com and that is mine, so I'm getting all of your emails. It would be great if you could check your blog. Again, sorry, and thanks.

From Marion on Sat, Apr 04, 2009 at 00:39:01 from 71.219.53.61

yes- My sil is on the blog and her name is Mandy. It is her sign in name too- see my fav's.... anyway- I am guessing that sasha needs to do something about it. Maybe if you Pm him he can fix it. I don't know what to do about it, I am sorry :(

From artichoke on Sat, Apr 04, 2009 at 13:21:26 from 71.37.124.211

Sounds like this back thing is affecting both of us. I'm still trying to find out if it's my hip or in my back, but either way it's got my sciatic nerve. Wish you the best it getting better. Maybe it's the weather? I need to blame it on something since I really know it's probably my lack of stretching properly and consistently.

From Marion on Sat, Apr 04, 2009 at 14:52:10 from 71.213.124.146

Arti- If you look up piriformis stretches, they really help with the low back hip stuff. The piriformis runs from the sacrum to the hip and the sciatic nerve runs through it. Mine was Ok this morning :) I am going to BED!!! :)

From Amanda on Sat, Apr 04, 2009 at 22:34:53 from 24.10.190.196

O.K. Thanks :)
