The furnace guy just left.  I am feeling better about having to get a new furnace. :)  I will be WARM!!!

I am off to do an hour of yoga.

Dr Brady said at least one more week off of running.  I am pretty depressed about the whole thing.  He said it could be as long as 4-6 weeks since my hip is not getting over it's self.  He has me taking Ibuprofen for 3 days and then off.  If I start to retain water then he wants me off asap.  It all will take longer to heal without the anti inflammatories, but my kidney health is #1.  Yesterday I ate my sorrows away, so today I am up from that, but I will be perfect through the next three days to make sure any weight gain is NOT from a binge of mine.  I am still SO happy about my weight.  I realize that for you skinny (short) runners, I weigh a TON, but for me, I am a twiglett ;)  Having been 255.5 lbs, and now to be less than when I even got married, it SO huge for me :)  We are going to have to change David's nick name to Single D ;)  I guess there are still 2, so that would be a double D ;)  Hmmmm....

I need to call Brady to see if I can bike.  He was so surprised that my hip was not better and I was so stumped on the no running, that I forgot to ask if I could still bike.  I do have to say that I really am liking being SO lazy and not getting up early.  It scares me at how used to sleeping in I have gotten ;)

I'm doing super Marion, a month away from Marine Corps Marathon, yikes!

We had a pretty mild summer all things considered, Fall is the best time of the year in DC but it's been humid and a bit hot... not too bad - I wish I was freezing with you guys up in the mountains! I'm going to run on a tank top for as long as I possibly can!

From Cal on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 12:55:57 from 66.133.117.3

get well and running again soon!

You are doing so great on the weight. Keep focusing on that, even though you can't run like you want to. Have patience and your day will come again.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 13:31:05 from 68.76.197.194

From leslie peterson on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 17:27:50 from 76.23.61.78

Marion, you are a tall lean strong gorgous running chick!!! The picture of health!!!!! You do have a dumb hip though, guess you aren't completely perfect! :) Hang in there, I do hope you can bike! I understand about the sleeping in, I am worried about that next week, when I no longer have bootcamp, it is easy to stay in bed, especially as the cold weather comes on, but we will be strong!!! Right? Right!

From marion on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 17:39:33 from 71.213.124.121

I CAN BIKE! I am going to bike when I get home from work tonight :)

RAD- us tall chicks have to band together!

Burt- very funny, mister ;p

Les- you are too kind :) Aren't you going to keep up boot camp after St George?? You can't give up your magic bullet ;) don't do what I did and skip my yoga and screw myself all up :(

From leslie peterson on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 18:04:23 from 76.23.61.78

I can not afford to do bootcamp consistantly, it is too expensive and exhausting, I plan to pick up classes here and there when I can, but I am looking forward to a break for now.

From marion on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 18:08:17 from 71.213.124.121

Dang that whole money thing :p Why can't we just get what we need :) Hey, I wonder if there is a "bootcamp" on line like I found my yoga on line??

From Carolyn in Colorado on Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 18:29:56 from 198.241.217.15

Congratulations on the weight loss!!

You are going to be so freakin' flexible with all that yoga and no running. I'm as tight as a drum.
