This past week has been a bit nuts/crazy/busy/down.  I didn't get a run on Friday or Saturday.  David wanted to know why I was screaming at everyone like a mad woman by noon on Saturday.  I finally reminded him that I had not run in 2 days.  He said, "Oh...."  I will not skip a day again.  Things have gotten a bit topsy turvey around here, so if I am going to be able to run, it is going to have to be at 5:45am :(  The plan is to swim from 6 to 6:20 and then run 4-6 miles.  I can bike tues, wed, & thurs nights with David after the kids go to bed.  Will's head cracking, and a few other things, have me really worried/upset/nervous about being gone too much.  I have been doing my sit ups and push ups everyday :)  I felt my arms the other day and they feel different :)

Yay for the arms!!! Sorry about the tipsy turvey last couple days. Wow, your TRI training sounds serious! Seriously, I don't know how you do it all!!! You're one SUPER DOOPER Amazon Goddess on a TRI quest!!!

Smooth, you are SO nice to me. I CAN'T do it all and it is driving me nuts :( I am having the hardest time trying to focus on my kids and David and not skipping my runs. I HATE 0'dark hundred :p I guess I need to get a grip. Oh- and the bishopric was released today. I knew David would feel sad, but I am surprised at how sad it is making me :( Lots of emotions very close to the surface. Fortunately, I was called to be a primary teacher last week, and pretty much had to run out of the sacrament meeting room to meet my little CTR 7's. No time for sentiment :)

From Smooth on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 20:15:59 from 71.32.237.234

CTR 7s are the BEST!!! Hey, you get to sit with David during Sacrament now! Woohoo!

I hear ya on fitting the running in during the wee hours when the kids are hopefully still sleeping. You're a GREAT mommy. And running makes you a even GREATER mommy and wife! It's true!

From marion on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 20:31:32 from 71.213.106.139

Yes- sitting with David is definitely a bonus :) We sit in two little rows, so I can sit in the back, center and thump/grab/control whom ever needs it. I am thinking of making a boys row and a girls row so David can have fun with his boys :) Currently we have seating assignments to try to control the mayhem ;) I am quite sure that I will be making him sit next to me every sunday from now on, as much as I'd like to banish him to to the "boy" row ;) Before he was put in the bishopric, I was in the stake primary, so it has been a while since we have sat together.

Marion, you are truly amazing! Life can definitely get out of control sometimes, we have to remember though to put ourselves first! If you aren't tuned up and running (hehehe) properly no one will be. Unfortunately being a mother sometimes makes us have to sacrifice our sleep/sanity to get there. You are doing great, keep up your wonderful attitude and just keep at it and enjoy the ride.

Thanks Rachel! I am just down this week and need to get back on top of things. I think the marathon blues were a bit slow coming on and now they are a bit slow the giddy up and GO!!! A solid week of running should help :)

From Maurine/Tarzan on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 22:26:01 from 97.117.58.218

We all have times when we need to sit back and deal with life and also refocus our efforts. Glad you will get to see Double D more on Sundays. Hang in there - you are doing great.

From Teena on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 22:51:04 from 67.177.20.13

Marion -- You are one tough woman and I am certain you are juggling things magnificently!!!

Funny how different people handle things ... when the bishopric was reorganized and Ry was released I couldn't get the perma-grin off of my face for several Sundays in a row. I knew that it was probably inappropriate ... but I couldn't help myself!!! :)

Hang in there Amazon Goddess!!! You are MARVELOUS!!!

From marion on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 23:16:49 from 71.213.106.139

Teena- I am REALLY surprised by my reaction.. funny :) I bet he's sad because he'll have to deal with the boys ;) They are like a pile of puppies some sundays. The bishop has always been so great about them. He was sitting up there cracking up at me and them today, as usual. I had one under the pew pulling the shoes off of one sitting on the pew trying to be reverent. Goof balls!

Thanks Maurine- I am just in a funk. I hope to snap out of it soon. I am having one of those, "Why am I not a better person" weeks. Why can't I just do all of the little things I should do all of the time? Why are the little things hard/complicated?

From leslie peterson on Sun, Jul 19, 2009 at 23:56:11 from 76.23.61.78

Marion, I think you are wonderwoman, just doing 6 kids is a full time job, anything else is a bonus!!! You are doing FANTASTIC!!!!

Is your new Bishop's name Steve Larsen?

From marion on Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 00:12:57 from 71.213.106.139

Thanks Les :) I'll tell my kids and DAvid you said so :) Our new bishop is Deav Wolf.

Thanks! What type of swim workout do you plan on doing before your run in the morning? And keep up the pushups :)

From Running Rinny on Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 12:27:13 from 174.23.102.253

life is complicated and finding time to juggle everything sometimes gets even harder, sorry this last week you have had a funk set in. life has not be fun for me either lately if it makes you feel better :)

i got back into jogging again and found a neighbor friend to go with me :)

glad you guys made it out to the restaurant, next time will have to have you come by the house first or something...some great fun trails around here.

From marion on Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 14:36:21 from 71.213.106.139

Brooke- I am/have been doing an 800-1000 meter swim. I only have about 20-30 minutes :( But today I decided to do an IM (minus the butterfly ;) I look like I am having a seizure) I do a 100 of each stroke until I am out of time. The last 50 today tried to drown me ;) I had to keep reminding my legs to KICK! They were done swimming and ready to run ;)

Rinny Pooh- There are SO many BEAUTIFUL trails up there! I love the river parkway trail the best! We had such a GREAT time! Next time we will come earlier and spend more time at the beach. That was great. Are there any nicer beaches?

From MCKENZIE on Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 14:48:41 from 75.169.130.241

Marion- great seeing you today, you are a breath of fresh air and always make me smile! I glanced at you this morning and you did not look like you were having a seizure...atleast you didn't look like you were doggy paddling in the water for an hour like me! haha

From marion on Mon, Jul 20, 2009 at 14:56:02 from 71.213.106.139

McKenzie- you are SO kind. You did not see my butterfly :) I'll have to show you next time. You'll have to be out of the pool, because if you are in the pool, you'll laugh so hard that you'll drown ;) I am SO sorry about your STUPID ITB. :( What a poop!
