My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Pokey, tired run.  Good for the soul :D  Nothing hurt, a few sqwaks here and there abouts :)  No energy, no zip... POOPED out!  I need to get some sleep.

slow COLD run :)  It was raining and snowing and breezy.  I say breezy, because it was not windy, BUT, with rain and snow, that breezy was not nice :(

I met Jennie and we ran on the Salem Canal road.  It was ice slush, 34 degrees.  It was not too bad to run in.  We walked about 3 times(traffic crossing, nose blowing, Jennie drinks), so the time is not bad.  The last mile was HARD.  I felt very much like I hit a mini wall :)  It could be the morning running.  I am very used to running after a good breakfast and lunch and plenty of hydration.  The morning runs are on a fast.  Hmmmmmm......  I will have to ponder this.... ;D

Slow 9 miles. 1:51:00/12:20

I ran with Chrisann today.  It was her first 12.  She did GREAT! She is running the Moab 1/2 next month.  It's her first 1/2.  YIPEE!  She determined the pace today :)  It felt slow, but I was ok with that.  It is so fun to run with her :)  With two miles left, my right neuroma was bugging :(  Not too bad.  My right ITB did not bug during the run, but is a bit irritated right now.  I am going to stretch and then get into an ice bath :o    NOOOOOOOoooooooo!!!
