Nice run out to Salem and back.  Please note the 12:44 was the monster up hill on the highway.  Thank you, thank you very much!  This run felt great. I really want to be faster, but I keep reminding myself that slow and relaxed is the way to keep from getting injured.  Chill chika!

Oh- the sun was making the most beautiful sky this morning.  The mountains were deep purple with orange and red splotches all over them from the changing leaves with this brilliant orange red sky behind them.  It was remarkable looking.  I guess fall is ok, even if it means that ugly winter is on its way.  I will LOVE winter this year!  I LOVE winter.  I LOVE fall.  I love poopie diapers.  I love laundry.  I love mopping.  I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!

Here is our goofy family picture for the christmas card.  YES, I have the pictures back from Costco and the cards too.  I am going to get them all done in the next few weeks.  Don't worry, I won't mail them until the day after Thanksgiving, but I'll be ready!  YES, I am NUTS!!!!  The Hawiian shirt that Ford is wearing was my husbands when he was a kid.  Ford LOVES it!

What a cute photo! hahaha oh man I feel bad for whoever's getting my family's photo!! It's crazy!!!

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:09:53

I want to see it Benn! We've tried to be creative in the past, but as it turns out, we look crazy no matter what we try to do :) we figured a snap shot after church would do just fine :) We made it thorugh 3 hours of church and everyone can still smile, sort of!

From Camille on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:13:43

Nice Family picture! I love it!

From Kim on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:14:56

Great picture Marion! I'm glad I tuned in today to see it! It also looks like you are doing great with the running! Way to stick to your guns about the things that work to keep you from injury!

Hmmmm Christmas cards....I'll put that on the "to do" long list. The "to do" short list is too long to add it to. :o)

From montelepsy on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:27:00

Ford would be popular here. Hawaiian shirts are all the rage for us civilians.

From The Howling Commando on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:28:17

I'll post it today or tomorrow :) We always do one of the cards from Walmart or whatever with the kids on it. My parents don't like being in the photos for some reason. This year my sister's boyfriend and Emma are also in it and we decided on the goofy picture. It's funny!

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 11:37:46

Awesome Benn- I can't wait to see it! :)

Mike- Ford has worn that shirt with his Lederhosen, black dress socks and black dress shoes. He is one snappy dresser!

Thanks Camille and Kim :D

Kim- don't let your lists get to you. Just rip them up and only do the things that you remember. If you forget something, cool. I figure if I forget something, it is Gods way of telling me that it was OK to skip it! (I do set my watch alarm to pick up my preschooler, though ;)

You are very consistent! Beautiful family!

From tarzan on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 12:41:49

Good run! Keep up the hard work. What a nice looking family.

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 12:43:33

You are back!! Hope you had fun! You are so amazing with these workouts, seriously!!!

Am I the only one who can not see all of the picture?? I see you, your daughter, and half of your husband, but that is it.

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 12:49:11

I got back Saturday night :)

Weird about the picture view. I don't know if everyone can see it or not. Well, can you everyone? It is HUGE :)

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 12:52:19

If I click on it, I can bring it up in a new window and see everything. It is cute!

What do my pictures look like on my blog becasue when I put them on at first they look just like yours does. So i go in and resize them and make them much smaller. I wonder if i am the only one that sees them BIG. Am I making them too small on my Blog???

I did not realize you got back so quickly---i thought you were going to be gone for a week or something. I do not listen well!

Okay, off to the shower! I can smell my stinky sweat and that is never a good sign!!

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 12:59:34

I can see all of your pictures GREAT!! I should shrink them, but then I'd have to get more involved :)

I wish it could have been a longer trip, but no such luck. I was very happy to get back to my little ones. I don't like to be away from them. I really don't like to be away from David the most.

From britta on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 15:44:08

I am totally impressed you have your Christmas cards in hand ready to be sent. Your family is beautiful. What an accomplishment!!! How come you don't come to BBK? You should! O duh you live in Payson.

From Teena on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 15:47:45

Oh Marion, what a cool picture!! I love it!! You are so on top of things ... I am very very very impressed!!

Hope you continue to have a wonderful day and continue to love all those wonderful things!! :)

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 16:43:38

Hey guys- when the ward newsletter lady says, "come here and let me take your picute!!!" We say "OK" When it doesn't look HORRIBLE, we say CHRISTMAS CARD!!! ;) Our definition of a good picute is #1 everyone is in it, #2 You can see everyone and #3, no #3, those are our only requirements ;)

From Kelli on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 16:52:25

We have not had a family picture since #4 was 2 years old. He is 6, and we have added another child. I refuse to do pictures!! So, good for you! Oh, and I have never in my life done a Christmas Card. Maybe this is my year!

From marion on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 16:59:35

All of our family and friends live FAR far away and the christmas cards are the only contact we have with most of them. Sad but true. Plus it's really fun to send 'real" mail :)

From kelsey on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 20:29:13
