Aside from runs where I have become injured, this is the WORST run EVER!  I got up to run with Kim at 8 and started to get a migraine as she was walking up to my door.  I went back to bed until 10.  From 10 to 10:30 I tried to talk my self into and out of a run.  At 10:30 I left.  I never win the "stay home" battle.  I walked a bit, stretched and then ran, well sauntered.  My knees were yakking, then my calves twitched, then my hip cried then at mile six, my neuromas caught fire and felt like they were being stabbed by millions of little pairing knives.  Finally the last mile, just my knees ached a bit and now I am home.  Phew!!!

Have a WONDERFUL day everyone.  I am going to shower that run away and pretend it did not happen!

This is my beautiful baby Will.  He went missing yesterday and it was HORRIBLE.  Of course he was fine and all is well, but the police, sheriff and all my neighbors were combing the neighborhood.  They are all so WONDERFUL!!!

good job on finishing that run! I know that feeling--slogging through a run that is just so miserable you want to stop...but you finished! Way to power through...Your baby is adorable!

Sorry you are out of d.p.!!! So where did you find Will?? How long was he missing? I lost a grandkid about that age for 10 minutes in a park and I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I won't take a grandkid unless they sign a waiver!!

He was right where he told me he was going ;) He came to me with his shoes and said he was going to Heidi and RAchels. I put his shoes on him and he went into the back yard where he normally plays with them. (our yard is fenced and they play in our yard) Well after about 15 min I realized that Mac was in the house, they are a team and thye always play wiht the girls together. So I sent Ash out to check on him. He wasn't there so I had her go to R & H's house. NOT THERE!!!! So I FREAKED OUT!! He has never wandered anywhere. I called in the whole armed forces. After about 20 more min I went to H & R's house myself. I thought it was strange that George (thier dad and a cop) was not out helping us. Anyway, I go bawling to their house to ask them to look one more time. He looks at me like I am nuts and tells me Will is playing with his girls. He told me Will was there 3 times before I understood him. Apparently Ashley got no reply to her knock and assumed they were not there. I am SO glad that I went back there so soon. I am guessing the stress of the whole thing caused the migraine today. :)

I'm so glad everything turned out OK. That is so scary when things like that happen. I hope your migraine gets better.

I am so glad that everything turned out okay. Sorry about the migraine - but awesome job pushing yourself anyway.

What an awful scare. I hate that feeling ... where you are just sick in your stomach ...

I am SO glad that all is well.

The picture ... ADORABLE!!

And Marion, what is your plan of action regarding the migraines? Are you seeing a doc about them?

From marion on Sat, Oct 25, 2008 at 14:58:08

and yet thanks again! You are all so sweet!

About the migraines- the migraine meds make me VERY sick. I pretty much know what causes them and have to tweek my life when they become troublesome. Stopping biking got rid of the slew from last month. Losing Will most likley triggerd yesterday. Anytime my emotions get extreemly heightened, I get a migraine the following day. The pain has really seemed to decrease over the years... or I am just used to it ;)
