I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

My goal is always to have each split be less than the previous, and MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Today felt pretty normal.  A little tightness in the calves and discomfort in the ankles, but nothing to stop me.  I ran my usual route which was very nice and cool.  I love the canyon breeze that comes down in the morning.  I took my ipod and enjoyed Evanescence, The Scorpions and The Wicked Soundtrack.  The Scorpions really helped with that last split- it's huge and in green in case you missed it ;)

I am going to go finish my yoga class as soon as I am done here.  Tomorrow and Saturday are both 2.5ers and Friday is 10 miles.  If anyone is up for a MEGA slow 10 miles (12-13 m/m) come join me!  My sister-in-law will be in town and I am probably going to make her come with me :)  She'll be so happy about it.

Have a great day everyone!  Happy running!

Fished my Yoga class!  Why do I EVER miss?  YogaToday.com  has a yoga for runners class in their archive.  It was fantastic.  My hips, quads and knees are feeling the LOVE now.  Alright, every morning after my daily ritual, I am gonna DO YOGA!  I know I have said it before, but WOW, it's just the best and I am a FOOL to skip it!

Your time ROCKS! Glad the calves are doing better. I would be down there in a heart beat for a nice 10 miler, but have to go to Fillmore for a family reunion. I am doing a 9 miler friday with the Running Chics. We will have to compare notes!! Have a great day!

I need to try the Yoga on line, I always seems to miss my class, it is nice that we can always fit running in before the world wakes up and starts calling!!!

What kind of terrain was 9:07 on, and how hard did it feel?

Sasha- The 9:07 was 1/4 gentle down hill, 1/4 down hill and 1/2 TOTALLY flat (on the road) The last half was flat and it was hard. I was OK for .75 of it, but the last .25, I was ready to stop. I was in the "ok- just make it to that corner and it will be alright" zone. I was only doing the steam train breathing for the last 1/4, though.
