I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

I am HEALED!!!  It is a Festivus Miracle!!!  Let the airing of the grievances begin!! ;)

Anyway- I got up and could walk with my "normal" morning legs :D  I even could walk down the stairs with only a titch of remnant aches. :)  YIPPEE!!!  You all said I'd get better, and I did :D

I was just going to go for a walk, but the legs felt fine and so I ran.  I had a few steep down hill sections that I walked, just for the quads sake.  For the last mile and a half, the right quad was present, but not really to whiny ;)

I took Will in the jogger stroller and that was HARD.  The legs felt fine, but the cardio was tough, as much of the run was up hill with a head wind.  The temperature was BEAUTIFUL.  I am so happy it is Spring today :)  I am so glad that I am not broken :D

Those jogging strollers are nasty! I used to always run with my 2 boys, but I tried it a few weeks ago...got 500 feet then stopped until I went downhill. You are super amazon woman for getting *5* with the stroller!!!

It's a miracle! Good job on getting out today. I love the weather too. I think that it is official that I can wear shorts every morning with a tank top! I am so glad! you are doing great, and I am only up 30 miles on you for the year! I better start watching over my shoulder on race day!

I hope your foot will be ok, but those long runs can really knock you out for a while when you're not doing them gradually. I'm glad you're better.....3 days later :) Remember the rolling pin on quads and don't forget to stretch stuff. You know, after running on Saturday, I can't believe I didn't ask you to go into great detail about the Melting Pot. I guess that will have to be for next time :)

Airing of grievances - well I have this friend who is hopelessly optimistic, beautiful, has a horde of kids who shes a wonderful mother toward, can run farther and faster than me and can do more push ups than me. And her yard is a-bloom in tulips while my tulips made my husband ask if tulips come in the color green. Makes me feel downright inadequate. j.k. except for the praise. You are wonderful Marion!
