Molasses Monday :D  What a grand tradition!  My legs felt really cool and skinny this morning :)  They felt light.  I realize this did not reflect in my anti-speed pace, but it was an unusual feeling worth noting.  I had bad dreams all night, but slept ok reguardless.  My ankle is ok today, but it has a bruise on it the size of a large peach and still quite tender to the touch :(  It caused me no problems on the run at all :)

Have a great day!

Legs cool and skinny! I like that! Mine are heavy and tight, kind of feel like I got run over by a train. Was it cold a fallish out your way? The weather is cold and damp up here. I just had to tell you Marion, I did the 5 pound gain thing again, carbo load Friday, and reckless abandon on Sat. and Sun. 3 days of kicking back and a marathon, I do it every time, oh, well, by WW on Sat. I will back down and starting over AGAIN! Looks like you are off to a great week, I need to try your yoga! Be thinking about Painters, Lisa and I are probably going to go, I need to talk to Maurine, she is home!!!!

Morning Marion! I love it that feeling when for some reason your legs feel light and bouncy:) Nice workout today!... you do an awesome job of getting a variety of exercise... running, biking and yoga oh'my! Hope your bruise heals fast. Have a marvelous Monday.

It' not that often you get that skinny feeling. It must be all the great sleep. Here's to great sleep!! It's true, it helps. Thanks for your really encouraging comments, and for sharing your positive energy and saucy music videos! You are a great cheerleader! It's been a bit of a struggle for me, I appreciate your kind words! Also, I noticed your new mileage. YOu should see about Moab's "Other half" That is a beautiful half marathon and makes a great weekend trip. Keep up this mileage and you could totally be ready.

What did I miss? How did you get a bruise?

Now, my legs for real feel like molasses, in fact my entire world is moving in slow motion today. I feel like I am on drugs---but I am just tired!

What an awesome work-out day for you, as always. Hope the migraine goes away---give it some diet pepsi with crack.

I had a battle with that stupid "thing" that DAvid is working on. (VW thing) anyway- I lost and my ankle and elbow got the worst of it :(

Kelli- I am sorry your legs are being jerks! I unually feel the same.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 16:46:13

Great term for it. In fact, my entire body is being a jerk!

Hope your bruise does not hurt! Never fight an inanimate object!

From marion on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 17:06:09

yes they hurt! You know, the thing is the one that picked the fight. I was trying to carry hot salsa in and the dumbo tripped me with it's bumper :( Then as I was on my way down, it threw it's fender into my elbow and tossed me into the hand railing! Dirty fighter!!! GERMANS!!!

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 17:08:28

Oh, you are funny! Thanks for the laugh, I needed it today!

From marion on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 17:14:48

You're welcome! :D

From tarzan on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 18:05:55

Sorry to hear you got hurt. I'm hoping the salsa didn't lose the battle in the fall. Need to get back to my routine of running and trying to get my knees to quit hurting from cobblestone. Sorry to hear about your migraine.

From KimR on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 18:35:06

Was your salsa awesome--worth the big peach sized bruise? Hope so. . .

Keep up the great work! You really are amazing and I am feeling rather lame doing my measily miles each week.

Thanks for running with me and not being too mad at me for sleeping in last week. Sometimes I just can't subdue the sleep loving demon within me!

From marion on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 19:13:44

Hey Kim- If i could sleep like you can, I WOULD! I have never been able to sleep in :( Maybe it's good :) Your miles are GREAT! You are running at least 3 days a week and packing some miles in on those days. You are still faster than me, ALL THE TIME and so you should be thrilled :) The salsa was AWESOME! I put in 20 anaheim peppers and NO heat what so ever! I am SO bummed. Maybe we should mix one of mine with one of yours and one of mine and see what kind of heat we get? I'm gonna try it right now with the little bit of yours we have. YUMMY!!!!

From marion on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 19:16:34

Maurine- the salsa was not sacrificed in the attack! Thank Heavens!

From marion on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 19:39:48

I just blended the salsa! WOW- it's perfect!!! Kim- you ROCK!!!! I love you!!! :)
