Good job Marion! I am still trying to decide if I can sneak out of the house and come. I think my husband would think I am crazy to squeeze in another race, but it would be SOOOO much fun to do it will all the FRB's, so we will see! And Breakfast at the little cottage on the creek sounds devine!!

From marion on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 16:02:55

Hey Les- he might not even notice you are gone :) The race is at 7am. You know you want to!!! It's only a 5k. Alright, I'll quit pushing. It is a cottage that has been ransacked by my 7 little, semi-little and over sized dwarfs!!

Hey Lori- are you coming? It's gonna be fun :)

From leslie on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 16:05:40

It is soooo tempting!!!!!

Mall shopping---that I hate! But TARGET, that I LOVE!! I had to "run in and run out" while my husband had the 4 little kids in the car, but I was in there 30 minutes. CLEARANCE everywhere! I barely had time to look, I have to go back!

Hope you found your shoes.

Good running, yucky ice bath. Do you do that every day?

From tarzan on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 22:20:53

Have you thought of ordering them over the internet?

Wish I could join you on Monday - but I gotta labor on Labor Day. :(

From marion on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 22:47:40

After 2 hours, 30 bucks on Sbarro Pizza and fudge, there were NO SHOES TO BE FOUND!!! I ended up ordering them on line for 1/2 the price of the Bircks in the mall (they had only Barbie sizes left). I sure hope I like the ones I ordered! They are stinkin cute :)

PS- I LOVE target too. I try to limmit myself to once a month ;)

No- I only ice bath after long runs or races.

Tarzan- sorry you have to work :( You will be missed!

Glad I am not the only one indulging in PIZZA today (although ours was Little Caesars---so yours was way better)! I should go find some fudge.

From marion on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 22:51:44

FRiday is vice day. Fudge, pizza, hot dogs, grilled chicken, potato salad, oreos, caramel corn and brownies! I am SICK beyond reason!

From Kelli on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 22:56:13

Every day is vice day at my house lately! But, I am down 4.2 pounds this month (I weighed in this morning for August). I am finally back to the lowest I got on WW (this was last May). Now, to lose the last little bit that I DESIRE! It is not going to happen while marathon training---I eat way too much!

Hey, if you like DownEast Basics stuff, you can shop their clearance online right now AND get an extra 50% off (with code: LABORDAY50). I bought 2 dresses and 4 shirts for a little over 30 bucks, including shipping!

It sounds very temping :) But I think I will take my Mom to the Hooper Tomato Days 5K and 2 mile walk and spend some time with her.
