I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Today was a very nice run with KimR.  We were only going to go 3.6, but then Kim remembered a football game tomorrow, so we upped the miles today so we could fit a shorter run in before she has to go at 7am tomorrow :)  All's well that ends well! :D  The run was tiring (how do you spell that?)  I think the yoga and biking may be aiding my poop-ed-ness!  Oh well, as Michelle says, I must set my Amazon Goddess free ;) LOL!!!  I ate pretty well yesterday.  I may have overdone it on the watermelon!  It is so tasty right now, I just can't help it!  I have noticed that the more fruit I eat, the less I crave garbage.  My weight is almost recovered from my Labor Day Weekend CRAP binge.  I will SO never do that again! (probably ;)

6.23 REAL miles, time 1:15:22, ave 12:06, best 8:52, Laps- 11:53, 11:36, 11:56, 12:00, 11:33, 10:40

62 minutes of Yoga :D  I LOVE yoga!!

I'll add the biking when we get back :)  They boys are loving the trailer :)  YEAH!!!!  My two year-old calls the "wagon."

20 min of biking, converts to 1.66 running miles.  My legs felt like over cooked spaghetti!  My fat was screaming as it was being DEVOURED by my muscles!! :D

Great job on the mileage this week, you rock. How many miles are you wanting to run next week. Also, where do you run during the winter months deadmill or outside?

From marion on Fri, Sep 05, 2008 at 12:21:02

Thank BArry! Next week is rest week:D I am doing 80% of this week, so 21.6 :) Then I'll build for 3 weeks and do an 80% week, etc, etc, etc! During the winter I do the DREADMILL if it is too dangerous outside. This year I am hoping to run a lot more outside than on the treadmill. I am planning on ordering winter gear from the SG running center and having some SGM runners bring it back for me.

It is a bit :) YEAH!!!! I am trying not to notice, so I don't jinx myself and get injured ;) If I don't notice that I am running more, maybe my legs won't notice either :D

You are so funny! I love to read your blog, it makes me smile!

Have a good weekend and great job this week (we all ran extra to burn of our pancakes and syrup---but it was worth it!)
