I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

I woke up at 6 am and just could not help but go for a run.  I could not stand it ONE MORE DAY!!!  I had planned to wait until Thursday, but NO way!  I did my cute little 2.5 mile route that I started to run on.  It is so CUTE!!!  I didn't take my garmen so I just timed it on my watch.

Yesterday was HORRIBLE.  My head was unbelievably painful.  I even called to doctor back to see what I should do.  He never called back, of course, so I just went to bed.

I have been using the course tool for my runs to check my garmen accuracy.  The garmen is pretty right on the money.  The map for Payson is WAY old, but the mileage seems to be pretty accurate.

Have a great day everyboby.  I am going to run 3.5 tomrrow and then I hope to be back to my 5 a day.  We shall see! :)

78.2 lbs lost total, 12.8 since joining the blog.  My new pants I just bought in September are TOO big ;)  It's good and bad all at the same time :D

Marion, so fabulous!!! 78.2 lbs.!!!! There is nothing bad about pants that are too big ( besides the $ spent!)Yeah! I am taking a break on the weight loss ( well, not actually a break, but I am trying not to have it be such a huge deal this holiday season, I am just trying to be good without going MAD!!)

I am glad the headache is gone and you are back to your running, that was a great pace after your little sabbatical!! I hope the rest of the holiday season is a healthy happy one girl!

Thanks for the dinner suggestion for tonight. I am thinking of Marie Callender pot pies, with a sprig of parsley and squirt of ketchup on top, thank you Mike! I may even bring out the candles... it will be so romantic!!

Marie Calendars are the BEST!! We just had the cheap-o banquet ones!

From Metcalf Running on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 10:20:42

Marion, you are my weight loss hero!!! I'm so impressed with you! I need your dedication to stay on plan.

Good to see you are running... I hope you continue to get feeling better :)

Marion, that is REALLY white trash! At least you served a side dish, maybe that will make up for such a ghetto dinner! If the kids loved it, who cares?

I need to go run, I have been a slacker this morning. See ya.

From marion on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 10:31:12

Thanks Lori!

Leslie- they were 40 cents! I had to buy them :) My cheap skate always beats out my gourmet!

From Burt on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 11:15:27

I don't think so. We are probably going to just run as long as we can stand it ;) and then go eat as much turkey as we can stand! ;D

I loved your elf dance!!! You guys look so cute and festive! I am going to see if I can get Harold to do that, he would look goofy, he hasn't got a big smile wired yet. Thanks for the giggles!!!

From montelepsy on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 13:00:58

Wow, when did you start losing weight?

From marion on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 13:06:15

I started after Will was born. His birthday is in a few weeks. He'll be three :) I had been over weight the whole time we have been married.

From Lucia on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 14:28:34

That elf dance is such a classic, you are hilarious! Glad to see you felt well enough to run! You'll feel better every day, I know it!

The doc called this morning and gave me some nasal steroids. I think they were the missing ingredient! Ta Dah!!!!

I am off to fold more laundry!!! Oh yeah- and eat my tots!

From seeaprilrun on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 16:08:23

Yeah!! So glad you could get out and run a little, and WOW on all that weight loss. You are inspirational. Did you ever imagine 3 years ago that you would be walking around all skinny and telling people you run 5 miles a day?! That is amazing!

From marion on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 16:25:54

Actually, I am exactly where I wanted to be back then, but I really didn't think I could do it! I love surprises!!! ;D

From Kelli on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 18:41:39

YEAH for the run and bigger YEAH for the too big pants!!! Better go get a belt... or better yet, go shopping for new clothes!

From Kelli on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 18:43:54

OH, and I love your elves!!! You all had the perfect facial expressions!

From montelepsy on Thu, Nov 27, 2008 at 01:32:36

Instead of throwing away your big pants, turn them into rapper pants.

From marion on Thu, Nov 27, 2008 at 10:35:56

OOoooooh! I'll have tailored black curderoy Gangsta' pants! Thanks for the idea Mike! How was your military Thanksgiving dinner?
