My Favorite Quote-   "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." -Harriet Beecher Stowe

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

I was going out for 4 but decided to do 5 because Tuesdays are not good mileage days, so, 4 tomorrow would be better. It might have to be on the treadmill :( The run felt most excellent. To tell the truth, I really thought that I would never be able to run again. Being able to run a marathon was such a gift from God, I thought that I might not be blessed to continue running. I am feeling very grateful and loved :)

I ran a weird made up route today.  I wanted to do five, but need to chill and do 4.  It felt good.  A little niggle (to quote Michelle) in my right achilles.  I've noticed a bit over the last week.

Poky day.  I felt really tired and warn down today.  My last mile had a break in to to chat with my friend Julie :)  Apparently, the visit with Julie, breathed a bit of life into my run :)  Oh well ;)

Some serious pain in my right side after 1 mile.  I was pretty intense :(  It moved from my side to my chest and then back down to my side.  I was feeling pretty bad by the time I got home.  I am guessing it was the piece of cake I ate before the run.  Anywho, I did a little bit of miles today, becasue I am running in the morning for the next two days.  I figured a low mile day was a good idea! :)

I argued with myself ALL day to get out and do this run.  finally Chrisann said, "GO out!  If you don't, you'll just keep thinking about it."  She's so smart.

It was snowing for the run.  The temps were between 35 and 39.  It was probably colder out in the fields.  this run is a gradual down hill and then a gradual up hill back home.  It's a big loop with the onion days 10k in the middle.  I felt tired from 5.5 miles on.  I never got the "I AM DONE" feeling.  As you can see by the last mile, I still had some juice, and burned it all out on the last mile.  Why leave anything in the tanks with a rest day tomorrow :)  I need to eat.  It's 4:42 and I never had lunch, waiting to get out to run first.  How lame am I??
