I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

The knee was irritated at the very end.  Did not like this route.  The flattest route around.  Slightly down hill for the first half which means a slight up hill for the last two :p

I need to get a foam roller today.  ***Michelle, I forgot to get it from you at the pool on Saturday :(  I'm gonna call Dr. Brady and see if I can get one from him after work today.  If not, I will be by to see you, Michelle, if it is still oK ;)

800m IM (minus the butterfly)  David says I can't call it an IM if I don't do the butterfly ;p  He is such a party pooper!!!  So what do I call it?  The Fly-less Medley? Marion's Moronic Medley?  I'm-a-dork-and-can't-fly Medley?  I Believe I Can't Fly Medley???

 POOPED on the run this morning.  I was HUNGRY and tired today.  I am very tender in the hips where the rolling KILLS!  My hip was aggravated during the first 3/4 mile but then gave up.  The knee started to twinge a bit at about 3.27 miles but did not do more than whine a bit. :)

So here is my next question-  Give me my morning routine.  Stretch, roll, run, stretch, roll?  Or run, stretch, run, stretch, roll???  Roll, stretch, run, stretch, roll?  I am doing the stretching and rolling 2 other times during the day,  I just am curious about what to do around my run :)  Oh yeah- don't forget I swim before all of this running stuff too ;)

OH oh oh, today when I got out of the pool, this lady told me that I was a GREAT swimmer!!!  I talked to her for a bit, it turns out that she is an injured runner with PF.  No wonder she thinks I can swim, she's one of those hydrophobic runners ;)

When I grow up, I want to live on the coast with amazing running trails with all of my running friends and have a heated outdoor pool with a track around it for speed work and a full time sports med pt/chiro and a fantastic massage therapist.  Oh yeah, and a chef and a laundress and a house keeper.  Wait- this need to be Smoothies hotel with beach front bungalows.  Anybody in??

Not feeling the love today. I HATE my flat route.  It is out in the fields and the Onion Day's 5k is in the midst of it.  I think the distain is psychological, but there non the less.  Because of my dislike for it, and the fact that they are doing road construction on it, I went for my old up and down hill route.  It did not work :(  I am going to have to find a flat route that does not go to the other side of the freeway or drive to the canal trail and run on that.  This is going to be tricky as there a hills all over the place around here :(

5:30 am- Went to the pool, only to find it closed for lightening watch :(  I think we are going to find another activity besides camping for the next few days.  It is supposed to thunder and lightening storms all weekend and I don't want any of my kids or husband or nieces or nephews or  BILs or SIL to BLOW UP and DIE!!! ;)  Maybe we will go camp out at the dollar movie ;)

60 minutes of swimming.  I did stop to talk to the FABULOUS Michelle :)  I went to the pool with David and his sister Barbara.  They taught me how to FLY!!!  Yes, I swam a 150 of FLY!!!  I believe I can FLY!

I did Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred  last night.  I also did sit ups and push ups.  Barbara brought me a stability ball.  Yeah!!!  I did a bunch the day before too, like 210 crunches and 50 push ups :)  I did FIVE guy push ups yesterday!!!  The fifth was my FIRST fifth EVER!!!

Now we are cooking "Throw up" on the camp stove.  Throw- up- sausage, hash browns, eggs with cheese grated over the top. :D   (I used turkey sausage and 2% cheese) The kids slept in the tent last night.  They also roasted hot dogs over the fire last night too while we slept in warm beds and went out for Mexican food :)  Good times!! :)

I got to run with KIMMIE today :)  Yeah!!  We ran out to Benjamin.  It is pretty darn flat.  My knee got a little ticked at 4.3 miles.  There is no more irritation to the touch in my hip, so I am going to start the hip strength training this week.  I will do just 4 miles a day this week to make sure it is all healed up.  Next week, Kim can run with me on Monday, wed, and Fri. :)  I am very excited :)

Have a GREAT day :)  I am off to do something fun with my family.  David has been off work since last Thursday and doesn't go back until next Tuesday :)  It is our 19th wedding anniversary on Monday :)
